Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [10/04] BATT UPDATES!
I'm giving it a try. First problem I'm having is the top (Power) button is now putting the TP2 to sleep instead of returning home as in all other releases. Any way to fix this? The End key still puts the TP2 to sleep as normal. At first it looked like it was finally reversed to match the behavior in WinMo but nope. Both keys are putting it to sleep.
EDIT: Nevermind. I fixed the End key (Home) with Spare Parts as suggested at XDA. Now the buttons work like WinMo. Awesome. . Last edited by aldamon; 10-14-2010 at 01:58 PM. |

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [10/04] BATT UPDATES!
does anyone know, how can i install the XDA on the internal of my phone?
on my own observation, the battery is run fast when i install in the Micro SD card. or maybe the xda system is running on the winmo system, that is why, the battery run faster and hot. i only can run the XDA for 5 to 6 hours after the fully charge. |

That's not the problem dude. Power management still needs quite a bit of work - the phone is basically working overtime on the processor, so that's why the battery drain is so bad & the phone heats up. |

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [10/04] BATT UPDATES!
Does anyone else have any problems with the Vibration setting.
I set my phone to vibrate and Ive tried calling and sending texts and the phone doesn't vibrate. I remember it use to work when sound didn't work. Am I the only one with this problem? Also I installed pandora from the market and I guess It installed to my phone and I moved it through Manage applications however now If I go to add widget its no longer there. How can I fix this. Also How do I get it so that when I download things from the market it defaults to download onto my SDcard rather then my phone? Thanks to all who help. |

BUT If thats true how come under Settings/applications/Manage applications it tells me how much Internal memory I have on my phone and how much memory I have on the sdcard. If the sdcard is all it knows how come you have the option to move your application? "Move to phone" or "Move to SD Card". If I remove an application from my phone I clear up internal memory space. Or am I missing something. I see under sdcard there is an applications folder but not all my apps are in there so arn't they in the phone and if so How do I get it to default to the sdcard? I have a 16gb class 6 sdcard I would like to make good use of it! |

XDAndroid stores all of it's apps and settings in a file called "data.img". It is a fixed size file of 256MB. Everything that you change in settings or install via the market will be installed in this file. The free space you see is the "free" space left in this file. It is possible to make this file bigger, but you need some *nix knowledge to do so. |
