for the section in bold from the (startup.txt), I've been wondering does it control touch sensitivity? One of the minor issues that I've noticed with Android so far is that touchscreen responsiveness is less than snappy.

I guess what i'm looking for is some way to tweak sensitivity to the users preferences....

I'm pretty sure I'm asking too much too soon, just wanna know if anyone might now of a solution, and if the section in bold has anything to do with it?

I am running the latest 7/21 Blazin Froyo build and my home screen clock is missing. Does anyone know how I can get it back? I tried reloading Froyo from scratch but have not re-downloaded it.

I got it. my calls weren't working cause my sim was in my phone.

Is there any app or anyway to get the bluetooth or speaker to work?

Yeah read that FAQ!!!

Its because your auto-backlight is turned on in WM. Disable it and Android will be able to sleep.

i have no idea what that setting does but play with it... change the number... worst thing you can do is have to reload it... but if you keep a copy of ur startup you should just have to delete the one you screw up and put the original one back in lol

How are people getting Google Navigation to work? Maps works just fine but Navigation seems to make the device hang endlessly.

Never even see a red light, thats VERY strange. lol I might try starting completely over again I dunno. The reason you're in the Indian Ocean (lat 0, lng 0) is because you dont actually have a gps lock. Play in google maps for 5 minutes or so without letting the screen go to sleep and eventually it will lock onto you.

for my very first GPS lock it took over 15 mins... but once that was out of the way it locks near instantly now! The first time takes alot of patience, but it's easy after that.

Hi guys,

First of all, great work, android fro the TP2 is coming along nicely!

I haven't had much luck though. There are 2 show stoppers for me at the moment, and they happen with every build I've installed as far as I can remember:

1. Every time the screen goes off (sleep) my phone crashes. I have to reset the device. I doesn't matter if it goes to sleep automatically or if I invoke using the end key, always the same result. It never comes back to life.

2. Although the 3G icon appears on the notification area, I don't have data connection. No web, no market, nothing. Maybe this is a specific prblem with my carrier. I'm in Venezuela, my carrier is Movilnet (they used to be owned by Verizon Wireless, now it's a State operated company). I do not have a SIM card, so I ruled that out.

Any thoughts, please?

More info on which build you're using would be helpful, the more recent builds have been much more stable and would most likely address one or both issues.

1. Personally, I had the permanent sleep issue on the 7/16 blazn build... found out that if I Long Press the power button, it would sometimes bring it out of that sleep but not every time.

2. I'm not familiar with that carrier so I'm not sure what to tell you. Have you tried checking/unchecking 'force CDMA' or trying out the various Rhodium keymap configurations?

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [7/21] Fresh Froyo!

Ok guys, its close enough you all can try it now.

http://reefermattness.scepterr.info/BLAZNsystem.ext2

Delete your data.img and your cache folder, rename this file to "system.ext2" and replace the old one that is inside of your andboot folder.

I'm using the blazn 7/21 build, just installed today. On my first hour of use I was able to bring out of sleep without a problem. I haven't used it anymore because I received a call and in the middle of the conversation android rebooted! That's a first!

I use the RHOD500 keymap because that's the model I have (at least that's what it says under the battery). I'll follow your advice, although I don't understand how the keymap can affect my data connection.

By the way, thank you very much for your assistance. It's great to be in such a great community where everyone is willing to help!

Well the only thing you can try is to see if your APN is there and set correctly.

Go to Wireless & Network>Mobile Networks> Access Point Names (APN) select it or if is not there make a new.
