set ramsize 0x10000000
set ramaddr 0x10000000 set mtype 2292 set KERNEL zImage set initrd initrd.gz set cmdline "lcd.density=240 msmts_calib=0x9f.0x39a.0x35c.0x78 7x00.a11=500 msmvkeyb_toggle=off pmem.extra=1 gsensor_axis=2,1,3 pm.sleep_mode=2 rel_path=andboot hw3d.force=0 htc_battery_smem.fake=0 acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=777000 physkeyboard=rhod210" Boot for the section in bold from the (startup.txt), I've been wondering does it control touch sensitivity? One of the minor issues that I've noticed with Android so far is that touchscreen responsiveness is less than snappy. I guess what i'm looking for is some way to tweak sensitivity to the users preferences.... I'm pretty sure I'm asking too much too soon, just wanna know if anyone might now of a solution, and if the section in bold has anything to do with it? |
Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [7/21] Fresh Froyo!
I am running the latest 7/21 Blazin Froyo build and my home screen clock is missing. Does anyone know how I can get it back? I tried reloading Froyo from scratch but have not re-downloaded it.

Its because your auto-backlight is turned on in WM. Disable it and Android will be able to sleep. |

How are people getting Google Navigation to work? Maps works just fine but Navigation seems to make the device hang endlessly.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [7/21] Fresh Froyo!
Hi guys,
First of all, great work, android fro the TP2 is coming along nicely! I haven't had much luck though. There are 2 show stoppers for me at the moment, and they happen with every build I've installed as far as I can remember: 1. Every time the screen goes off (sleep) my phone crashes. I have to reset the device. I doesn't matter if it goes to sleep automatically or if I invoke using the end key, always the same result. It never comes back to life. 2. Although the 3G icon appears on the notification area, I don't have data connection. No web, no market, nothing. Maybe this is a specific prblem with my carrier. I'm in Venezuela, my carrier is Movilnet (they used to be owned by Verizon Wireless, now it's a State operated company). I do not have a SIM card, so I ruled that out. Any thoughts, please? |

1. Personally, I had the permanent sleep issue on the 7/16 blazn build... found out that if I Long Press the power button, it would sometimes bring it out of that sleep but not every time. 2. I'm not familiar with that carrier so I'm not sure what to tell you. Have you tried checking/unchecking 'force CDMA' or trying out the various Rhodium keymap configurations? |
Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [7/21] Fresh Froyo!
Ok guys, its close enough you all can try it now.
http://reefermattness.scepterr.info/BLAZNsystem.ext2 Delete your data.img and your cache folder, rename this file to "system.ext2" and replace the old one that is inside of your andboot folder. |

I use the RHOD500 keymap because that's the model I have (at least that's what it says under the battery). I'll follow your advice, although I don't understand how the keymap can affect my data connection. By the way, thank you very much for your assistance. It's great to be in such a great community where everyone is willing to help! |
