Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!
Not good.. last i heard bzo had some issues with it. But Alex[sp3]dev might tackle it next. We need more manpower since there is also high demand for BT. Its not on my list of poop to do. Im more concerned about the battery meter code that will get published soon .. it might be hell for a few days depending on what devices break :-p

I also had this problem. Formated the memory card reinstalled, and turned off the overclock and it started working right away.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!
Tried Barnacle Wifi Tether.... works ok.
After rebooting acore process crashes left and right. I think I read a warning somewhere about wifi not working fully especially Wifi Tether of any kind. LOL oh well new data.img again. No big deal. Using the batery status test kernel so probably the issue there. Last edited by coolsilver; 09-30-2010 at 09:29 AM. |

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!
I had issues booting the latest reference build. Took away the overclock for the first boot, added it back for later ones and it's still working fine. I guess you just can't overclock for the initial boot?

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!
I've got a TP2 on Verizon. You mention to remove the SIM card. However, I find no description of how to do that, other than to use the stylus. There is a metal band that is holding it in place and there appears to be no way to remove the SIM without destroying it. Please help.
Also, I have run this with the SIM card in and once, while using Force CDMA, have gotten phone and data. But not since then has it worked. Now, I have downloaded the new version from 9/28, but both versions (overclock and standard) freeze up the phone just after selecting Rhodium 500 and clicking boot!. |

Quote:
use your stylus and there should be a little hole/slot right in the back of where the sim card sits. put stylus in there and then push it out it will bend a little but it will not break.
