![]() ![]() There won't be a folder called "root" dude. "...the root directory is the first or top-most directory in a hierarchy. It can be likened to the root of a tree - the starting point where all branches originate." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root_directory No, it won't replace/remove windows mobile. Just reboot your phone to get back to Winmo. You appear to be running a custom rom, so I take it you can handle a soft reset. |

For example, if you were using your file explorer you would navigate to 'Storage Card' and would see a bunch of loose files showing up right here here (i.e. they would not be in any subfolders). All these files would be considered in the "root" directory |

So this is probably somewhere in the last 142 pages...so i appologize...but is there any word on an update to this crafty piece of greatness? I'm running it now and it's amazingly smooth and snappy...but I'd like to have a ringer, know what i mean...
![]() Thanks...

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
ok well, before i left for work at 730am i had my phone charged around 90% and loaded a fresh android.
Im impressed as this is still in alpha stage (IMO). I was able to get the phone to last until 4pm at which point android battery went red, and told me to plug it in as the battery was about to die. I went those 8 hours and got 2 freezes where if i let it sit for about 3 mins it would go back to normal. everything was working good, text, twitter, gmail, market, smooth and reliable as could be for something that is still in development. I am very impressed and this COULD be used on a day to day basis IMO if you don't care about EVERYTHING working 100%. just my $0.02 |
