Re: [BUILD] **Complete Froyo Bundle!!** FRX06 - "Stable" - Minor Fixes
Hey there,
I just want to see if someone else has the same problem I have. On this version, skype finally works for me but unfortunately when the call is ended either initiated by me or the other person the phone would reboot. I have tried many times and it reboots every single time. I am wondering if it's the issue with the new module ending in a1c1.tar since it didn't happen when I was using this latest build with an older module before this. Thanks

I just installed FRX06 on my Sprint TP2 last night. I have the same problem with the Orange LED indicator light on all the time. I've let it charge overnight. With the screen off, it stays orange, and the battery does seem to drain pretty quickly. I'd love to find a solution. On another note, my wifi worked the first boot and has not worked since. Any tips? Thank you in advance. * Edit: Since this post, I have re-installed FRX06 on a freshly reformatted micro SD and still cannot get Wifi to work. I followed one tip to enable Wifi in WinMo first, tried that, but it still does not turn on ("Error" is all that I get) in Android. * Edit #2: I was able to successfully get the green LED indicator to show up after turning off the screen, but I cannot reproduce the steps consistently, meaning if I redo the same steps, sometimes the LED will still stay orange. For now, I'm leaving it alone to see how battery life is for the next couple of days. What I did: - Added the Toggle widget bar to one of my home screens - Turned off GPS - Turned off Sync (this effectively turned off Google Sync but left on Background Sync) - In Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> Turned off Background Sync - Turned off screen, verified green light came on (about 5-10 seconds, generally, otherwise it didn't work) - Turned back on Background Sync and Google Sync (left GPS off, and Sync icon in Toggle widget still shows "off") I tried this routine several times and got it to work a few times, but there was a stretch of 10-15 tries when this didn't work. As for wifi not working, I guess try a newer kernel? I don't really use wifi, but it always "just works" when I do. Quote:

Thanks for the advise though! I do wish if you could, could you try out skype and see if you can duplicate the crashing of the phone? |

I guess I could, I have no clue how to use it tho. Don't you need some account and maybe someone to call? I have neither .

You just need to sign up for an account. You don't need anyone to call because there's a bob on it called "skype call testing service" or something like that, that you could call and try to end the call. that was what I was troubling shooting when I was mix and matching different kernels and modules.
