Re: NAND Boot Testing - 01-07: Panel power on/off fixes
HA, just worked for me too! The android installer is a little tricky to navigate, but it seems the left part of the screen is up, the right side is down, and the center is enter/select. She's beautiful guys. =D>

Stinebd seems very interested in making a larger busybox, and I'm testing to see how much crap I can pack into initrd.gz and have it still boot Last edited by natemcnutty; 02-24-2011 at 01:13 AM. |

Yeah, I think that is what I will be working on tomorrow. Also, I don't know if you guys have noticed yet, but we get an awesome boot log in the andboot folder from the new init. If one of you guys could post yours, it would be much appreciated. I just want to see if everyone else is the same as mine

larger busybox? why? I need to talk to that boy since that makes no sense. For the next build im going the cyanogen route and having no busybox in the init. A simple shell script to load android is all we need I wont get to commit my changes tonight, but i have the auto kb detection working and no more force cdma needed. Its all done by android.. I was going to remove the over clock to implement the setcpu support but lmiller talked me out of it before :-p .. Ok, so im leaving for texas tomorrow and wont be back till sun, but i want to make sure the cooker have everything they need to test the sh*t out of this. So i'll be putting up the autobuild with the latest kernel and android update soon. THe base android install remains the same. also dont use the menu to install. The script is whacko and does other things its not supposed to do. So install via the script only for now.

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 01-07: Panel power on/off fixes
Thanks buddy. I'm going to work on the init and system thing tomorrow. I just wanted to make sure it's doing the same thing on others. Looks about the same as mine except you have no bad blocks

ahh also can you verify this. You are not longer catting the xip onto the payload correct? back to the original method ?

yes, I am using the original method with the nbtools and all that. I will be playing with the cat method tomorrow just to see if it matters.
