confirmed; audio-out with adaptor broken in new rom;included headset works though

i saw a few posts claiming that audio out was broken on the new rom

i thought i was okay because the included earbuds/microphone they include with the phone work just fine.

but i got to work today hoping to listen to some streaming radio and mp3s ..

i plugged in my mini usb to 3.5 headphone adaptor (with another slot on adapter to charge while listening..bought from semsons) and no audio!

i hope we can remedy this situation...anyone else with an adaptor can you test this and report back?

I noticed a similar problem, (windows media player audio only came from the device speaker when it was pluged into my car kit)
a soft reset fixed it though.

I had the same problem this morning. I had the Y adaptor with the 2.5 and another adaptor to 3.5. Usb was plugged in. Could not get any audio out. Took the cable out and I had sound. Plug it back in and no sound. Unpluged about 3 and I got sound back.

Unplugged everything and came back and no sound. Came home and tested it again and sound worked.

I just flashed last night to to the newest DcD's I was thinking I broke something in the 2.5 adaptor. Guess not, nice to know I'm not alone.

I can confirm that my 3.5mm adapter is working just fine. I am listening to it right now. I am running DCD 2.2.3. The adapter I have is not the one that has the sync port on it though so maybe the problem is with that model?
