WM 6.5 Custom Taskbar

Yeah I cant find any taskbars that will replace the WinMo 6.5.x. Seems like every cab/dlls out there cause the bottom taskbar to be greyed out and have no start button. Im assuming its because all taskbars are made for 6.5 and 6.1 due to the titlebar and taskbar are the same thing in those builds.

Does anyone know how to successfully put 6.5 version of Tsowens taskbar on a 6.5.x without having it mess up and make me reflash the whole ROM?

I agree. I just got my TP2 (verizon) last week, and I've been wanting to run that cleanup utility but it requires a custom taskbar due to the battery status mod. I've been searching & searching, and I can't find a taskbar .cab that will successfully install on my WM 6.5.x ROM. suggestions/help?

Once I switch to 6.5 I will, I converted some taskbars to 6.5 but it was a stab in the dark since I am not running it and cannot test it this is why I haven't released anymore. More of a quality control on my part because if I am not running 6.5 I am not using the taskbar and cannot help troubleshoot it. Hopefully Sprint wil release 6.5 soon for the TP2.

Copy that. Thanks! They are supposed to have it out by the end of March at the latest. That's the official word. The rumor is that they will release it as 6.6 and not 6.5, so that would be way cool.

hi to all! i have been reading your thread tsowen from the 1st page here and on xda, you are doing great work realy. i've installed your wm 6.5 taskbar and i have it for a while, everything is ok except sms, speakerphone icons. now i decided to use it as a base to put some of my icons that i like and i found them on iconspedia and it isn't so dificult. i put a screenshot of some icons that i changed and some that are not showing right like sms icon. where i have to look to change those icons that are not showing corectly or there is something else needed to do becouse the sms icon is changed from stock in dll? i'm on Duttys HD WM6.5 Leo Holy Grail R0 WWE Based Rom 1.59 ( CE OS Build 5.2.21869.5.0.82 ). I will not put any of dll's with my new icons here or anywhere else becouse it isn't my taskbar, since most of icons are still yours and i like them.thank you and sorry on my bad english.

Hi there!

I am running NRG ROM 6.5.5. 23518 from 18.01. and recently installed tsowen TB for wm 6.5.x. It looks great but it caused me to loose some icons in the botom menu - e.g. when I enter the SMS editor the button for send command is jus black.

What could be wrong and is there a solution.
