Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Yep, it works perfectly fine on 6.5. You have to start using things like showcase position fix if you want to use the 6.5.1 builds.

I had to wipe my phone clean of all MS files, and reinstall/setup...it works now...I also noticed less problems with 3.5 (lag, etc)...wonder if starting fresh without 3.1 overwrite helped...seemed too...oh well. Hope it stays this way...

Actually, I'm also running a Treo Pro from Sprint, so maybe it is a phone specific issue!

All I know is that in 3, I couldn't play any ringer files that were .mid files. However .wma and .mp3 files played ok in the MS ringer setup screens. But now in 3.5 none play. It does ring ok, but I just can't preview the ringers like I could with .mp3 and .wma files in 3.

BTW...I had my phone selection wrong in my user details. I updated that so it shows Treo Pro now. Didn't want you to think you were loosing your mind!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Don't know if this only happens to me on my HTC Touch, but the analog clocks on these sets (changeskin) have a nasty bug (the minute hand appears OUTSIDE of the clock skin).

As for the rest of the skins and the extra backgrounds, it's a nice addition to Mobile Shell.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Okay well I tried 3.5 with the imarch skins. For me, the analog clock looks normal in small size, but anything large has only hands...no clock rim at all. Other than that I really like it except that the back ground skin does not show up behind the carosel anymore. I'm guessing the was removed for the reflections and back panels which is not an option for my phone. Is there any way around that?

VGA Clockworks Widget 4MSH3.5 -3.01

Hi every one

Clockworks Widget 4MSH3.5 by_Onymous

Overview
This is a widget of an analogue clock with clockworks visible for use with Spb Mobile Shell 3.0.1 and 3.5 on a Windows Mobile smartphone.
The clockworks inside has a moving part. This way the clock never has the same look.

Manual installation for Mobile Shell 3.5

The clocks where made for a VGA screen.
Download this .zip compressed file: Clocksworks35.zip
Copy these files in the Mobile Shell program folder on the smartphone:
Folder: \Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell
Files:
va_AnalogClockWorks1.dat
va_AnalogClockWorks2.dat
va_AnalogClockWorks3.dat
va_AnalogClockWorks4.dat
Add the file Clockworks.xml inside the \Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell\qa_layouts.dat file. This is a .zip compressed file with password: b0fm18zq
Rename the .zip extension to .dat
Import this file to the registery of Windows Mobile: Clockworks3_5.reg
For the changes to take effect, quit "Mobile Shell" or soft reset the smartphone.

Use the widgets in Mobile Shell 3.5

On Mobile Shell click the "Add Widget" button
Click the "Analog Clock" icon. Click on the clock, press "Change Skin", select "Clockworks".
First place the "Clockworks" Widget, then add a second widget over it. (Clockworks Full moon, Clockworks Half moon or Clockworks New moon).

The old version of the clockworks widget:
Manual installation for Mobile Shell 3.0.1

The clocks where made for a VGA screen.
Download this .zip compressed file: Clocksworks301.zip
Copy these files in the Mobile Shell program folder on the smartphone:
Folder: \Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell
Files:
va_AnalogClockWorks1.dat
va_AnalogClockWorks2.dat
va_AnalogClockWorks3.dat
va_AnalogClockWorks4.dat
Add the file Clockworks.xml inside the \Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell\qa_layouts.dat file. This is a .zip compressed file with password: b0fm18zq
Import this file to the registery of Windows Mobile: Clockworks.reg
The number used inside must be the first free number. I used nr 7
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Spb Software House 2\Spb Mobile Shell\WidgetList\7
Change it in the 5 lines that use the number.
For the changes to take effect, quit "Mobile Shell" or soft reset the smartphone.

Use the widgets in Mobile Shell 3.0.1

On Mobile Shell click the "Add Widget" button
Scroll to the bottom, here you will find the Clockworks section if the installation was successfull.
First place the "Analogue Clockworks" Widget.
Then add a second widget over it. (Clock full moon, clock half moon or Clock round).

THANKs & Credet to Onymous

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.0!! (3.0.1 RC 5/21)

What about making the icons/text smaller so it will fit more icons on the screen at once (under the Programs menu)
