Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Hey...a little off topic, but this is in regardss to the phone dialer issue (not working correctly)...here is what I received from SPB support:

Dear John,

I present my apologies for such delay with responding.

I have forwarded your message to our developers and now we have the following result: Due to technical specification of new dialler Rhodium, unfortunately it is impossible to fix this issue.

Feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. You can always refer to this ticket using this link: http://support.softspb.com/default.asp?122082_t78mr61v

Best regards,
Kristina Mogilevskaya

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Just playing around with the demo for SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 on my Imagio. Thus far I really, really like it!

One question, though. It's a simple enough thing to add a "Lock Device" shortcut to the screen. Is there a way to get the screen turn off at the press of shortcut? Since the Imagio lacks a hardware key to do this (why??), this would be really handy. The music player Nitrogen has this in its program--anyone know if someone has created a widget for MS to do this?

Thanks!

There is one app called pocket shield that has that fonction soft key when you lock the screen, you can either power off or creen of if you use something on the phone, it's really really lite and deosn't thake energy at all....check it out, think they have a trial.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Ah, thanks for that. But I'm just looking for a widget that will turn the screen off / lock the device like the button in Nitrogen does (or the menu when you press and hold the end button and select "turn of screen" on the Imagio does).

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

If I understand you correctly about SPB 3.5 on the Imagio, your meaning that you cannot hit the lock softkey and eventually the screen turns dark? What do you do with SPB 3.5? I'm looking at SPB 3.5 but I haven't heard many good things about it. Lots of bugs?
