Makes you wish Android, Blackberry or Windows Mobile would have a commercial backed by Google on the availability of Google Voice for each.

Hell an Android commercial at the least

I'm not sure I understand the point of a native Google Voice app, (although I did do a "suggest"), After all, even routing all calls through GV, it still takes up plan miniutes, (it's not free). So beyond doing it just to say that you did it, I don't see the point behind using Google Voice as a replacement number.

Thats just it, its far more than just a extra/replacement phone number, read up on it.

I think you'll come to like it once you understand how it works.

Its more like an extension and enhancement & if used right, you CAN cut costs on your wireless bill, it may not be free but its not making anything more expensive if you have the right carrier add-ons & know what you're doing. Thats where the beauty of the app comes in most, also see Androids & Blackberry's app to get an understanding of what makes the official app that much better.

Finally got this "user app suggest" to gain some momentum thanks to others on the social networks, mainly twitter...

Hopefully Google honors their suggestion site...

No thank you bro for fighting this battle so hard and pushing and pushing to get the suggest an winmo GV app all the tech sites was popping up saying suggest winmo GV app with links on twitter and BAM I saw your twitter name I'm like Gen back at it again

Well what's worse is a higher up from Apple told the google developers their app would be OK'd. So they wasted all that time and money on the app, all so Apple could pull it. I have a feeling it was Apple up to no good, simply trying to hit Google when they could.

Yet another reason the iphone is a failure in my eyes. A fad for kids.

Yeah I mean it's not like they work closely with AT&T and knew exactly what apps had been pulled in the past... :/

Lets say AT&T did ask them to pull it, what about other carriers that offer iphone around the world? Are those iphones running a different app store, or no app store at all?
