Well, that's why I'm so confused. It gave me the option to select the theme, but after selecting the theme, there were no new layouts available. I followed the installation guide exactly, then went over it and tried again.

Thanks for this excellent thread (and the other WeatherPanel threads here too). I've now replaced PocketWeather with WeatherPanel and really find it to be a fantastic (and much better) app. I really wanted something that showed weather forcasts and alerts and this does that! Too bad about the developer has gone missing, but for now this is a great app.

If any are curious I have this running on a Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) running Windows Mobile 6 (So WP, Chameleon-240, and WP-Pilot 2.0 all appear to work just fine on WM6 )

This morning I had to hard reset and since then I cannot get the chameleon skin to work. It shows in the theme drop down box but under layout there is just the default layouts so the theme will not work

what am I doing wrong here?

How did you reinstall to your device...from a backup or did you install apps one at a time? If you installed from a backup then all the WP info should be there. If you installed piecemeal then you might have missed something. Double check the program file for WP and make sure that all the themes, icons, etc. are in the correct folders.

I´m having a small problem with the current conditions, for example at my country thre time is 21:45 and current conditions are showing a sun instead of a moon... any ideas?

When was the last time that WP updated the data? Do you have it set to automatically update? I have mine set to update every hour (might be a bit excessive). Did the problem just start? Try updating WP manually.

Let us know how it turns out.

I just installed WP and immediatly installed the moon phases fix and the weather panel bar on the today screen says " tap here to enter your serial"..... any ideas?

There are two versions of WP...a trial (which never really expires) and the paid version. You probably downloaded the paid version. Uninstall that one...download the trial version and install it on your device.

And don't forget to save that moon phases fix.

I did that but the problem didn´t go away untill I try to put the fix dll again.

I used WeatherPanel 3 or 4 years back (I think) and it was a bit of a resource hog and I had to sync to get updates, which usually took a while.

Having returned with my Treo 700WX, this application is sweet. Just wanted to say thanks to all the people here who have submitted helpful tips, created skins, given advice - you guys make this site and my Treo just absolutely ROCK!
