I just skimmed all 5 pages of this post, but did not find any info relating to this feature:

Does WeatherPanel offer any options to notify or advise of severe weather conditions (kind of like a weather radio)??

WP offers an "alert" feature. WP will display a red exclamation mark in the theme on your today screen. Tapping on it will bring up another screen that will display the type of alert.

I downloaded weather panel and when i click on the file in file explorer i get this error...

There is no application assoicated with "weatherpanel" run the application first, then open this file from within the application. What does this mean??

Are you trying to open the ZIP file on your device? You need to either a file explorer that handles ZIP files (Resco or Total Commander), or unzip the file on your PC and then copy the CAB file to your device, and run the CAB from your device.

Since it is a today screen plugin you cannot run it by tapping on a file in file explorer, etc.. You need to add it to your today screen under your device settings (Start-->Settings-->Today, then items tab then check box next to WeatherPanel).

I installed the program and now when I make phone calls the screen that shows its calling has this ugly font now.

Yes, this has been discussed many times...

You need to go the WeatherPanel\Themes\Default directory and delete the BRADHITC.ttf and Pixel.ttf font files.
