Very nice.
Well thanks for a post of another solution.
I'll have to add all the different solutions to post 1,
and then that way if they don't work for some reason for someone,
then they can use this.

Re: The True Active Sync Fix (Fixed And Updated 8/16/09)

well, I better say that aammiitt is not using native exchange push. live embeds itself in alongside activesync. and the other accounts are imap.

I only use exchange for gmail contacts/calendar, I just disable the notifications (and a few services) but I do think it broke the auto sync (could have been anything i did really..) but it was simple enought to include a manual sync in my nightly mortscript. (since it's not for mail YET it doesn't need the always running config)

Re: The True Active Sync Fix (Fixed And Updated 8/16/09)

You have a point. I dont use it to sync contacts etc. I prefer that manually.

Also here's another tip... from my experience.. once in 2 weeks or so..randomly Activesync might come on (using my method suggested).. but just go to schedule settings in Activesync and set it back to manual. Doesnt happen often.. just maybe once in a blue moon it gets a brain fart after a restart or something. Hope that helps.

Cheers gang!

Great concept! I installed and it went fine. However I notice that AS is still running when I check, I even refresh and it just stays on always. I go and run ASKicker again and it tells me that it is already running and if I want to stop it. Any idea? Also I'm using the latest EnergyROM if that matters or not.

That's what it does. it will sleep for the time period that you pick(5,10,15,etc seconds) and then re-run itself. So it's a process in the background, but is dormant for the amount of time that you have chosen.
It really doesn't do anything resource wise when it is dormant in the background.

Sorry I have been really busy
and lately I have been playing alot with open sourced programs.
And Portable programs on my External Harddrive that I use as a flashdrive.
I love being able to carry 500gigs of stuff to and from school.
I have a bunch of my music, and all of my programs I use at home except for counterstrike, and Microsoft office I have replaced with portable applications that I use on my harddrive.
Infact I don't even need office since I have better applications on my External harddrive now that reads and writes in practically any format possible.

One thing I would like to work on is a portable version of PPCKitchen.
That would be amazing.

Lol. nothing. been busy bro.
Like super busy haha.
I've been coding like a bunch for desktops, and all kinds of stuff.
School started back up,
so I've been really busy with that too.
I have 14 hour days at school monday and tuesday alone.
so I've got plenty of stuff that keeps me busy,
and I just don't have the time to be on the forums that much anymore.
Especially with working on starting a couple different websites of my own.
And all kinds of stuff.lol

What about you bro?

Well i'm kinda mad at my faq right now. haha.
I don't have the time for it.
When I get my personal website up, it will have a vogue and tp faq similar tothe one I have now for the vogue.
So I'll have to keep that updated some how.

But yeah, I have like twenty people that want me to help them with their websites. That's my next thing to do on my list.
Then It will be finishing my personal website, and then I'll be back here to work on your problem and the next release of the program.
