well it is completly plausable, after all the Q9n (Napolean) had one installed. I mean you would probably have to rig the scanner up somewhere on the phone. Other then that... have fun with it

kind of off topic, but instead of a fingerprint scanner why not have one that uses the light sensor to unlock your phone. kind of like morse code. for instance you could set up your pass code to be 2 long taps and one short tap. just an idea.

Especially on phones like the iPhone that have a proximity sensor built in. im sure that would be an amazingly profitable app!

I don't trust fingerprint "security."
If you can even call it that.
Even I can lift a fingerprint and use it to unlock on fingerprint scanners.

They did an episode of Mythbusters on spy stuff, and they were able to lift the prints and fool the scanner.

Yeah, I saw that episode. But if a normal man like the other guy can do it, I'd like to see that.. he made it seem very nonchalant, so I'm thinking it's very easy.
