Until it handles direct messages and allows me to turn off the sound (I don't want my twitter app to, well, twitter at me), I'll stick with TinyTwitter. I will keep an eye on it though, looks interesting.

I'm normally use ceTwit, but pocketTwit looks to have great potential. Thanks for the link.

Yes, his app will automaticay allow you to do it after every crash, once you reopen the app...

I've sent 30+ between the 2 builds...

Still buggy, regardless of Rom, I get the same errors as Notrock...

++1 for pocketwit, I've tried most of the alternatives and I find pocketwit way ahead of all others. I did try out twitkini though, it's fast but the auto update dosen't even work. I might try a updated version.

I love the way PockeTwit looks, and works (ideally). But, I started using it yesterday. It crashes. A lot. I open up the program, and it takes forever to load the GUI. And then it crashes. It reopens itself, sends the error email, and then tries to load the GUI. Lather rinse repeat.

I was using ceTwit before this, and it worked well for a really long time, until it stopped displaying tweet between random times. It would show all the tweets my friends posted in the last two hours, and then the tweets from fours hours ago up to old tweet replies and DMs from months ago. There were definitely tweets I during that lost time on ceTwit, I saw them at m.twitter.com. But not on ceTwit. I hard reset and reinstalled it, including updated builds, tried different ROMs, same problem every time.

+1 for another user who finds PockeTwit unusable due to how buggy it is. When it works, which is very rare, it's fantastic. If it wouldn't crash, freeze, lose settings, etc...almost every time it is used it would be the best out there. But until its stability is fixed I can't use it. I too have sent dozens of error reports...but to no avail.

I'll try this app - also has anyone tried Twobile?

I've been using pocketwit since v 0.3 and it is by far the best twitter app for winmob. I'm tempted to send the developer another donation. I'm very pleased with it.

Cool, now you can turn off the sound when it updates. That was the deal breaker for me. So far it seems very similar to TinyTwitter
