Re: The Official PPCGeeks Twitter Thread

I used Twikini 1.0 on my Touch HD. I noticed that on second and subsequent loading, it would not appear properly, I would see Twikini menu items but was still looking at my Touchflo clock in mid screen.
I upgraded to 1.1, the problem still exists but far more intermittant.
The latest problem is that Twikini will not connect to the web when I start it. When I load the app, it goe sinto refresh timeline, this then times out and fails with the useless error message "something went wrong, please try that again". I have uninstalled the app, cleared the settings in registry, re-installed it etc but the problem still exists. (Definately using correct account settings).
Its not a phone network issue cos I am able to browse the net fine.

As far as I can see, The Twikini site has no support section, no forum etc. This is a "no no" from anyone charging money for an app. I have found Twikini buggy and unreliable. The fact that they now charge and offer no support makes me just walk away.

Re: The Official PPCGeeks Twitter Thread

Yeah, I would sometimes get that same message when I would try to re-tweet. However, I could send a noraml tweet without any problems.

If Pocket Twit could iron out all of their bugs I'd jump over to that, but I'm still using Twikini.

late,
Coz

In my experience its been performing rather well from version .72 up to .74 before it was a buggy crashing nightmare. Not sure how grouping & twit pic features are handing though, given I don't use them.

Re: The Official PPCGeeks Twitter Thread

Not really an app, but a very nice mobile site. Would make a great foundation for a widget. It also has 3 themes

http://dabr.co.uk/

@dabr is a mobile web interface to Twitter's API. It has been described as m.twitter.com on steroids, and tries to provide as much mobile functionality as possible.
