Re: [12-3-09]Android CDMA TouchPro: TEXT and TALK(RAPH800) Ported!!!
I also can confirm this doesn't work on the RAPH800 for Verizon. When I try to launch haRET my phone doesn't even reboot. The progress bar loads and the phone vibrates twice but then it just locks up and sit there till I reboot it.
Damn you Verizon, why did you have to gimp this phone. *EDIT* I tried updating the startup.txt to reflect the amount of ram the VZW device has (I think I did it right) and I still don't even get the phone to restart.

Hmm...
Wonder if this would work on an Alltel RAPH800 that got assimilated into Verizon with the merger... |

Re: [12-3-09]Android CDMA TouchPro: TEXT and TALK(RAPH800) Ported!!!
Just tried this on my Raph800 and its pretty damn cool. Text came in while I was playing with it as well. Got to see the little title bar notification area in action immediately. Added my wifi MAC into the startup.txt but didn't get anything going with the wifi control panel. Hoping for good things to come from this progress.

Re: [12-3-09]Android CDMA TouchPro: TEXT and TALK(RAPH800) Ported!!!
I followed the guide to use the 22Nov09 release + the recent SMS+phone update and I can boot into Android and tx/rx SMS and play around in the os. You must have missed something.
Did you swap in the appropriate STARTUP.TXT file? |
