Re: Why Does Goolge Latitude SUCK
It's not the Blackberry gps it works prefect when using the program it's self but once you exit the program and continue to allow tracking it puts the phone 80 miles away. The program works and I have everything set up I'm just mad because I don't want to update my location manually I work as a Land Surveyor and I'm out in the deep woods a lot and would like people to be able to find me if anything ever happened. I hope google fixes the problems with updating that would be awesome. But for now I'm just pissed because it's like getting a new toy and you take it out of the box and it doesn't work.

If you exit, and you want your location to be tracked, it will only highlight the area you were in when you last exit the app. The 80 miles would've/should've been the spot Lattitude/Google GPS was last running. |

Re: Why Does Goolge Latitude SUCK
When the new Garmin/ASUS Nuviphone comes out it is supposed to have a good version of latitude on it. Hopefully by then they have the bugs figured out! Or if it is propritary to that phone only I am sure someone here will extract it from the phone and have it available for the rest of us!

Re: Why Does Goolge Latitude SUCK
I think it's just a bug with the blackberry version of the program. It only seems to be tracking the BB with towers and no GPS but it's weird because when she is home it says she is 80 miles from were she actually is. But if the program is left on it uses GPS and gives exact location same as the touch pro.
