When I tried that it did take me to the search screen, but then all it did was add the contact when I selected it... maybe I was missing something there.

Instead I copied the [Spb Contacts].lnk from the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Spb Mobile Shell folder into the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder and was then able to add it as an application widget and go straight to the search screen in one click.

Speaking of which, did anyone else notice that the Spb Mobile Shell folder doesn't show up when you try to add an application widget?

Thanks for this info I'll try that. For all that told me about going to Contacts then far right "man with phone"...yes that does take you to search. But to get to see the notes on that contact you have to go to the right softkey then press "Open contact" then go to Notes. Seems like a lot of key presses to me. I like the SPB Contacts button in MS2 as it was a 2 step process. :???:
Maybe I'm just not seeing this quick way somewhere else, I do have CRS.

I have but after instaling the NueDynamicClock v1.2 that seem to help IMO.

personally my battery life has been better. like said above i have been playing with the dynamic clock app and i also have so many battery tweaks i cant even remember them all but it has def. improved for me

I have to agree. Battery life is fine. Overnight, it dropped about 8% just sitting on the night stand.

I'm having an issue and I wonder if it's just me or if it's a bug. When adding to My Shortcuts I can fill up the screen with nine and it's fine. If I try to add more they show up and I can scroll to see them, but it messes up the order. When I add a shortcut after the ninth it starts inserting them after the first shortcut, it doesn't continue after nine. It's annoying because I want them in a specific order. Has anyone else seen this, and does anyone know how to fix it?

i noticed a hit in battery the first day cause i was playing with it nonstop, but after that battery life has been pretty much the same as touchflo3d (what i was using before) - so no complaints. you're probably going to drain a little more if you were using the plain today screen before this though, which is expected.

You can add as many extra pages to the today screen as you want with this registry tweak-->

hklm/software/spb software house 2/spb mobile shell/widgets/homescreen
change "pagecount" to desired number

I got mins set to 5 and it works great!

i'm in the same boat... so i was wondering, is there a way to get rid of the professional layout all together and just use lifestyles panels? or at least a way to lock it from scrolling up/down to the pro screen while on lifestyle?

At first I thought the lifestyle screen was worthless, but reading more on here and seeing all the ways to customize it, i have gone completely to lifestyle.

The only problem is that I sometimes accidently bring up the pro screen. So I poked around the registry. Maybe someone can finda better way, but this works. You change the key so that the pro screens point to the lifestyle screen. On the carousel it shows the lifestyle screen as normal and also lists it as pro.

Go to
HKLM/software/spb Software House 2/Spb Mobile Shell/NowScreen/Layouts/HOME
Change the default key from LockScreen to LockScreen2

Now MS3 will see both as the same, and very easy to change back if you want.

just pick which mail you want to show, thats just for gmail. the other 2 are on another screen. the icon with 3 envelopes i should say. whene i tap on single envelope icon, it goes to gmail but you can still get to other accounts from there.

I am zoning today because I can't seem to find that setting anywhere. Can you point me in the right direction? What I am doing is from my first lifestyle screen I select the launcher. In there is an item that says Spb Mobile Shell. When I select it there is not custom option. Obviously I am not on the same page as you. Can you walk me through it like you would a child? I am pretty brain dead today.

D, im just playin bro...

but if u have the programs button mapped for spb menu, launch it, tap settings, then u should cee customize menu, tap that, then the options to check and uncheck will be available

Duh! I told you I was brain dead. I didn't see it because when you run the Wisbar Advanced the start menu isn't mapped to spb shell eventhough you tell it to.
