Uh just a Thought why use it if you never utilize GPS? Thats the entire pupose of the application. To be able to track friends, contacts, and what not via GPS. If your trying to just be able to have friends locations on the map, I think thats farely impossible since the entire Latitude function of this app runs it's tracking via GPS.

Man I think the most kick @ss aspect of this new feature is the ability to run the GPS and zoom in within 5-10 meters of the contact's location. With the summer coming all of you beach bums will be the envy of the Thread..lollll

I didn't have a problem on my 800w. It worked smoothly and when I logged into Gmail on my pc I could see me updated pic and status there too.
