Is this strictly for contacts in gmail address book who have gmail address?
I've got friends/family in my gmail address book and they are under other providers such as yahoo etc.
Does this mean I cannot locate them?

Only people with a gmail address can participate and they don't have to be in your address book. Also, adding them with the app on your phone does NOT put them into your address book, which is how I prefer it.

Thanks man. I figured it out last night at home.

Had to send some G Invites to a few people to get them up and running.

I don't have a problem with the kids but I like being able to see where they are if I need too. And picking them up is easier by having directions straight to them instead of a 12 year old trying to guide me.

Is there a way to show you and your friends location in google earth i know you can do it in igoogle just want it in google eart on my computer thanks in advance.

well, my thumbs are sore as hell, but i got everyone in up until now. i got some bounces from some of the addresses i put in. i'll have to go check to make sure i entered them right.

i put this on my wifes touch and pressed yes when it asked me if i wanted to keep tracking, but when i look her up on my phone, it hasn't updated since yesterday. why ask to keep tracking if it doesn't? a future update from google perhaps?

i hope this ppcgeeks group takes off. i don't want to have added all those addresses for nothing.
