Seriously unless you like spam you should avoid posting your email address on public forums. There are spiders that will pick that up and add it to spam lists. Do one of the little "cheats" most people do. like your.name at gee mail dot kom.

I don't think it constantly updates you. More like you can fire up Gmaps and tell it to update your position based on your location. Say you get out to the bar and your friends want to meet you so you update the location. Then they can easily get directions to meet you. It also updates your status so people at home twiddling their thumbs see you are out and they can head out to meet up with you.
