Just wondering, can I use this same 6.5 kernel with my 6.1 Raphael SYS/XIP?
And is it just the nk.exe that needs to be replaced, or the entire OEMXipKernel?

So Dan, is it just nk.exe or the entire OEMXIPKernel that gets changed for 6.5? Thanks

if your using bepe's plarformbuilder, there is a option to set to use new 6.5 kernal also.. have not tried it but i believe the switch is there.

That's the OLDKERNEL=1 variable in the batch file, but you still need the new kernel in your XIP before you can set it to nothing (ie. real 6.5 kernel).

I think that's just to chose the type of relocating of modules, 6.5 nk.exe has extra slot's for modules

correct. You need both a 6.5 nk.exe and a reloc function that knows how to take advantage of the 6.5 slot arrangement. That switch tells platformrebuilder which reloc function to use.
