Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I like 6.5 currently with 21198 build on my touch pro but hate the touch zoom browsers such as opera, skyfire, and iphone safari. I know there is a registry to roll back to ie5 from ie6 on a 20931 plus 6.1 build. Is there any such reg key to roll back from ie8 to ie6 on 6.5 or if I cook with say 21040 browsing related sys folders will I break titanium integration? Thanks I know this is a little picky but I love the ie6 on later 6.1 builds and just despise the touch zoom browsers and am trying to get 6.5 ready for my daily use.

Edit using all 6 browsing related files from 21040 instead of the ones worked. However you need to use the webview.dll from the 21198 browsing folder or sms/email will not work.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Does anyone know why you can't modify the Favourites under 6.5's Pocket IE? I tried doing the following, and even though it now adds a new entry under the registry, it doesn't appear under Favourites:

Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FavoritesEntries]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FavoritesEntries\My Test Bookmark]
"Icon"="\\windows\\dsi.bmp"
"URL"="\\windows\\temp.html"

EDIT: Nevermind, this new IE uses a different method, it seems. I noticed under the BrowsingIE folder that there are provxmls that control it. (mxip_wpclang_favourites*.provxml)

Hello,

Is this phone canvas?

because I have some trouble with phone canvas and lock screen. Both are conflicting when the screen is locked.

Is this any good diamond skined dialer ( Like phone canvas ) for WinMo 6.5?

Thanks and regards

Same behaviour on all 21195/21198 releases that have been posted in this forum

The last time I say this blurring was with Samsung Today 2 plugin but that one uses Flash... removing/changing Adobe*.* directories in SYS from previous WM65 builds didn't help.

Anyone please?
Hi... inertiax3, I also try to cook the 21198 build on my i780 but i don't find the blur in Chrome, start menu, samsung today 2 or manila 2d... any screenshots?
but i find the blur (maybe the blur that you referring) in nadavi dialer when i scroll down, but not when i scroll up.. dunno why... just get frustrated with it i think I have to find another 3g dialer for it (it's very hard to find a 320x320 3g dialer )... do you have this problem too? does any one got a fix? dunno about the previous builds, I start cooking wm 6.5 from the 21195/93 builds...

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Odd question, any reason a program that runs on 6.1 shouldnt run on 6.5? I have been trying to install epocrates all day and it wont sync. I had worked on 6.1, maybe its a server problem on their end but figured that anything that runs on 6.1 "should" run on 6.5 right?

not exactly, they're introducing some new code into the builds and some of the programs might need to be updated by the devs. like touchpal, it works but it causes the phone to stuck on home screen, or just can access the programs list....thats the only one that doesn't work for me so far.
