Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
you know i was having problems with the clock/battery in previous builds and found it doesnt matter if consistantclockorbattery was set to 1 or 0 it would still have issues, the fact is if that registry entrie is there at all it will effect settings. just like the cleartype setting where there doesnt need to be an actual value..

Oh, so you mean I should just remove the ConsistantClockOrBattery entry? I shall try that when I get home then. EDIT: Nevermind, that didn't work either Last edited by dsi76; 08-10-2009 at 09:53 PM. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Da_G has a list of native 6.5 kernels on post 2 here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...37&postcount=2
The Nike is not on that list, so nope. Last edited by joojoobee666; 08-11-2009 at 08:09 AM. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
I just deleted both ConsistentClockOrBattery and LimitedClock and the battery stays on all screens. I liked how before you could have battery on the home screen and the clock on all others, but this works for me too.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
see if someone can help me again, i am trying to creat a few oem to use with visual kitchen . they work, but some registry values fail to be created and if you watch the kitchen compiling you can see an error where it says it cannot parse the value. i thought i could just create a provxml and throw it in the "files" directory of my package in the "ext" folder. well the entries are new executed. i know the kitchen is doing something with them because after a flash i cannot find them in the windows directory so the kitchen is not just treating them as a file but it still is not executing them.i have made surre they are all set as hidden, system and read only. one as an example is named "mxipupdate_dragondialer_1.provxml" i have tried mxip_dragondialer and mxipcold_dragondialer but nothing works. so my question is, either how can i fix the kitchen not being able to parse the value (most are binary entries btw) or how can i get the provxml's to work correctly?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
PPCKitchen 23025 files here. The 96 DPI are new from Da_G for this build. Also, as I did last time, MediaOS modules and a few other modules(along with browsingie and adobeflash) have been recmodded to make sure Slot 0 stays as free as possible. MSTag Read is optional in the sys as well. Looks like the dialer has been fixed, no more scrolling, but some of the numbers MAY get cut off, and the start menu now lines up fine.
The Herman XIP is tested and working, the Apache, Kaiser, Titan, Victor and Vogue all look good. Also, as last time, all XIPs are now spinlock patched. SYS_23025_Common (Update 10:30pm EST, 8-11-09.
