If yes, hex edit SYS/Shell/shell32.exe/s000. Search for hex string 0000004AB2FFFFEB replace with hex 0000004A0000A0E1.

Can anyone tell me the original string in 21159? I want to get rid of the timebomb there. Please help me I can't find the string. It seems to be different. So please give me the original string in 21159.

Thanks

Extract the attached RAR file, and delete the old Shell32.exe from "\SYS\Shell" folder and place/copy this new one there :D and enjoy :D

Is that the 21159 one? Don't want to get a failed ROM again. Will try. Thanks.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

The one posted here before (on page 236) didn't work. I tryed it but it was wrong. I need one from the 21159 SYS. I would do it myself but the string changed and I don't know the original string from 21159.

Can I get this straight, is this fix for 21500 or 21159?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

It is for 21198 till 21500 (Witch has a wrong build number). But in 21159 the shell32.exe is different. Using the file will not work.

I ran into all of the issues you are having by using his SYS files and trying to collect them into my own kitchen. turns out that will NOT work.

if you are using PPCKitchen, then I'd have no clue what to do for you, otherwise you can grab the SYS folder from Da_G's TouchPro/Fuze kitchen over at XDA and copy in the WINCENLS folder from Dan's SYS

The issue with using PPCK sys for a bepe/ervius kitchen is the attributes. The R/S/H is removed to allow overwrite of duplicates which the kitchen then autosets back after the dump folder is compiled. Change back the attrib on all but the modules and it will work just fine.

In addition, I think bepe's kitchen lacks .dsm file which PPCK requires.

It isn't for 21159 I tryed it. I want to cook a so old build becuase it works stable on Charmer. newer aren't that good. And with wrong build Number I mean that it is a new build but it can't be 21500. Maybe it is 21250. But a such big Jump is not normal. Anso Cracing said that the WMP tells not 21500. Ask him for infos.

That is a lot of useful information. So how do I reverse this? The unhide DOS removes the R/S/H automatically, what tool reverses this. Drellisdee not online at the moment but does anyone else know?

:salute:Yes, sir.

No need to wait:

I replaced G'Reloc (2).exe with greloc-fw.exe. Then when the build started and cleared the temp folder, I manually copied the WMReloc.exe to "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.3.0Temp\TOOLS." This allowed the build to finish properly.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I tried Bepes kitchen to could not get it to build, and when ever I use a sys from dsi76 you have to place a rom vm in the sys folder. So when you are using an Ervis or PPCK kitchen you will need the rom and vm. just watch out for whos sys you use I had all kind of troubles because of this.

I'm guessing you may not have the proper .cpr files for you device. I don't know exactly what resolution your device runs on, but there are some files in the windows folder called "StartMenu_Gridscene_XXXxXXX.cpr. The XXX's are for the different resolutions. Find some different ones and replace the ones you have (you don't need to re-cook to test) and see what you get.

Open a command prompt, CD to the root folder of the kitchen, then run (without quotes) "attrib -h -s -r *.* /S /D"

Here, just something to keep ya busy if ya want until the new ppckitchen comes out. Thanks to Da_G for this (if I remember correctly). Just rename your G'Reloc (2).exe to G'Reloc (2).exe.old or something and rename the G'REloc-fw.exe to G'Reloc (2).exe and follow my other instructions.

I've used it fine for numerous 21202 and 21500 builds. I have had no relocing issues that I am aware of either.

Giddyup! I can't wait to use it. Any other changes?

I don't think replacing the cpr's caused your device not to boot. They may cause the start menu not to work properly, but stuck at boot? How did you replace them?

Does your radio light come on and blink?

As far as backup, can you do an active sync?

You must have done something else other than replacing the cpr's before rebooting. I just can't see how that would stop your device from booting. Too bad Windows mobile doesn't have a built in safe mode.
