Did you install those via a cab file or manually copy them to the \Windows folder?

Thats exactly what I am wondering. Why don't you hard-reset and manually copy the cpr files. Do NOT use the cab, see what happens.

Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please read carefully this CAB worked for WM6.5 Build 21202 but now its not on WM6.5 Build 21500 so tht must mean maybe its not compatible with 21500 :(

I think we are reading carefully. That's why I wanted you to try copying the files manually to see if it is the CPR files themselves that are causing the problem, eliminate the CAB file from the equation. It is quite likely that something that worked on an older build may NOT work on a newer.

You know, I just re-read what you were asking for. This is not a "clean ROM". I cooked in quite a few apps. Did you mean clean like totally clean with NO apps?

Guys, what does the BronzeEA and BronzeNonEA mean? Some SYS have EA, some nonEA.. just wondering..

dan-htc-touch 04-10-2009 05:13 PM

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

not sure about ea and nonea, there was speculation that is had something to do with european setups or layouts, but there is never enough stuff in them to make a clear descision on what the naming is all about

Yes. JooJooBee, yours is working fine besides the start menu with the icons, I like the concept, its just not my thing, I like 3-4 icons on the protrait, and 4 on the landscape. Thank you for making this ROM for me though, It's got more memory now. I'm just looking for a completely clean, fresh out the kitchen with no add ons ROM. I'm a man of simplicity and organization. I'm also slightly CDO (OCD, but in alphabetical order)

Is the new PPCKitchen released yet? I'm not on my laptop and can't get access to the updater.

Please let me make this observation here, some of us feel reluctant to hit the thanks button for people who help us probably because we feel they already got great reputation.
I just brought the above post as a case study, many of us wait on Dan for
ported xips cos he does a good job on them, however just going back through the pages in search of something I spotted his post again and I saw that it has only been thanked 3 times.

With some other post you'd notice about 20 people have downloaded an attachement but only two remembered to hit the thanks button.

Can I humbly say this, it is not about just giving someone reputation but being highly appreciated of the great minds of this community who by their efforts make it possible for us to run great roms on our phone, and all of these for free, and so inspiring and motivating them to do more. Think about all the tools, softwares and kitchens we have for free.....

Thanks also reveals who you are, that you are a grateful soul, and it truly bonds us in this community.
So if somebody's post helps you, motivates you, or speaks your mind, dont just hit the thanks button, hit it hard. That's just who we are.
I may not have spoken for everybody, but I believe I have spoken for most.

Kinda the same way the OP of this thread was thanked 9 times, while the ported sys/xip has been DL'd over 50 times:

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?! It's in your Titanium*.cpr file.....but why???? I want to see your CPR's just to know what is in there. Copy them from </Windows> they are named Titanium_240x320.cpr and the 320x240 counterpart. Can you post them before u fix them so we can see what other errors may come down the line. And when you do, please make big bold letters stating that the files need fixed.....just so someone doesn't DL them and try to use them......

An easy fix it to get the Titanium WiFi/Clock file from Post #2 of my thread on XDA, and drop them in per the enclosed instructions. Those CPRs are modded from Dan_htc_touch's WiFi clock CPRs he posted a while back. I would stil like to peer into the one's you currently have on your phone though.
