I would say next to none. I think the only hope is if no2chem decides to rewrite it.

I am using the standard kitchen but I don't have a TP yet.
I might just save a little more $, and buy the TP2.
I am trying to come to terms with my addiction of cook n flash.
Between my 6700, 6800's, and my 6900, I don't have the time to work another unit into the mix.
But I might try to work a trade for one of my 6800's to get a used TP.

Thank you for the help with all the file converting & uploading.

Yes, it is possible to do. But, with the standard kitchen, you will probably break your ability to do NON 6.5 native kernel device builds, unless you remember to undo the necessary change before cooking for a NON 6.5 native kernel device.

Thanks,
I would probly steal my GW Solo back from my wife.
It's 650mHz P3 might handle the processing.
512 RAM might be the only drawback.
I'm looking on ebay for a XV6850 to play with.
Do you know any one with too many TP1's, and might want to trade for old Qwest 6800's X 2..?

Just an FYI to all. I created a vbscript/batch file combo to automatically recmod your common files based off an an input file.

More info here ->http://www.everythingdiamond.info/sh...&postcount=118

Mind posting it here? I don't have a Diamond or TP so no real reason to sign up there unless I have to.

There is the "Developer Edition".
I can't seem to orginize the files properly.
So I use the Regular version with the "Unofficial Files" from joojoobee666.
Everything is working great for my 6800's and 6900.

Try to keep the folder structure the same as the original kitchen.

If you are a 0C0A user and in the recent sys the send mail doesn't work, check the Outres.dll.mui file. Change "Mensajes" by "MensajerÃ*a" and will work.

Ok, let me post this with more clarity and less haste (I am not running out the door this time).

I need to officially thank Tplane37 of the "Force Developments" team for putting the list of modules that get recmodded together and helping me with some testing. Also need to thank AstainHellbring AND Tplane37 for some ideas with it. (You guys rock:headbang:)

The RecModCommonFiles.txt is the module folders that you want recmodded. You may change the content to whatever you want. The script is expecting recmod.exe to be in the same folder as the script. The easiest way to use this is to place a shortcut to the RecModCommon.bat in your "Send To" folder, then right click on the "COMMON" folder and "Send To" the batch file.

This does NOT have to be used on the COMMON folder only, you can also use it with an old stype Bepe kitchen where EVERYTHING is in the root of SYS. Also, I have reattached the scripts to this post to clarify what scripts this post is referring to. Once again, I apologize for my haste earlier, I just wanted to spread the goods before I had to head out the door from where I was.

Also, you may feel free to edit/cleanup the vbscript as you see fit

No problem JooJoo. I (as well as most everyone in here) was getting tired of manually RecModding one by one...so this script is a big help. I can handle being the guy to come up with off the wall ideas if you can handle helping to make them work...your scripting knowledge trumps mine by far.

This also works well calling it from a BAT file, depending on the usage in your Kitchen. Personally, I have it set up as a shortcut in my "Send To" folder so I can Right click and RecMod numerous SYS folders back to back. AND I have it set up in the kitchen to RecMod the SYS as it grills up a ROM. This script will not have ill effects if it gets ran on a SYS or EXT folder that has already been RecModded....I tested that intentionally because I know I will forget if one has already been done at some point.

amarullz has created a WM 6.5.1 version of Showcase Task Manager. It now uses the new X button to close apps along with fixing the window size of apps like Resco Explorer so it is no longer covered by the soft key bar. Many other new features. :)

Give it a look.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Well here are the changes i have noticed in 23052:

1. The top bar now can be accessed from any screen, and has colored, beautiful icons by default http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

2. The windows default spelling suggestions now dont come in your way when you are typing a message or email. Previously the suggesstions popup was so large and it use to cover the middle portion of screen even when you have typed text there. now the suggestions popup moved to the upper portion of screen in such situations. This is a great improvement.

3. The radio buttons are back to the ugly ones in some areas like Volume Control, Advanced Network etc. But at some places its normal, skinned one like in Settings>Input. I dont like this.

4. Checkboxes are fine everywhere but the Home Screen settings. The screen which lets you select today plugins is looking ugly with the transparency mask (the magenta color around checkboxes) is showing up, eh!

5. The icon problem in apps that use listview control like dotfred;s task manager, pimbackup etc is gone.

6. Dialer is working perfectly well even with my custom skin.

Overall, its a great build, with only a few glitches. 2-3 builds more, and it will be fine. Specially the alignment of controls on screen is getting better.

21857 is having the same AKU no and as expected there is no change to the feature list, although its working faster as ever. Great build overall.

This problem, the other folder icons missing (e.g. settings folder in start menu), .tsk files not being installed properly, start menu lock icon missing, carrier network connection missing, etc. are typically caused by customizations not running. If some run but not all, it's most likely a file attribute problem. Joojoobee posted an attribute fix for older style (buildos, packagetools or platformrebuilder) kitchens. Works like a champ! If no customizations run, the registry settings for autorun may be missing.

Thanks FormerPalmOS, my thoughts exactly, though I believe you mean provxml, not tsk. :) Give that a go, amd1572. Sounds like you have all the needed packages in the the SYS, so the provxml's which are responsible for making that folder and setting the icon in the start menu are probably not executing due to permissions.

Something else to check, look in your temp folder to see if all of the package files are in there. It's a quick and easy way to tell that at least the files are in the rom before bothering to flash. ;)

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I found a task manager that works well with the newer builds.
It puts a close button on the lower bar.
Also fixes the Resco Explorer issue of running off the bottom of the page.
You just have to adjust the settings from the registry for now.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology.
This will allow you to close the programs from the close button on the bottom bar.

PPCKitchen file for 23052 for the PPCK devs out there. The DPI's are all nice new ones from Da_G. All the rest of the notes apply. Also, MS changed some more stuff around, so if you are using custom icons and having problems, remove those first.

The XIP rar contains XIPs for the Apache, Herman, Kaiser, Titan, Victor and Vogue, all are spinlock patched except for the Apache.
