PPCKitchen files for 23049 for all the PPCK devs out there. The 96DPI are mainly a mash up of 23047 and the 23049 0409 lang files. But I manually fixed the Windows Media Player alignment that was fixed in 23049 192DPI files (The MediaOS_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320 was where the changes were, so this is QVGA only. All I did was stretch the image and re-adjust the skn file). Thanks to the "Force Development" team for beating their Titans around to test the 96DPI. Let me know if media player is having any issues or looks funny.

The XIP rar contains XIPs for the Apache, Herman, Kaiser, Titan, Victor and Vogue. All are spinlock patched except for the Apache.

Thanks bro, will give it a try tonight in my Vogue.

question, does this build have issues with the HTC Dialer?
when i finally got 23047 running, the HTC Dialer was all messed up with a scrolling bar on the right.

Probably, as the dialer looks the same as 23047.

Hey JooJoo, after flashing my touch pro about 20 times tonight from the micro sd with only 20% battery left I finally pinned down my no booters with the new 6.5 native kernel. It was due to the Applications System - nueDynamicClock 1.3. Attention all, do not cook with this oem! =) I am going to talk to no2chem and see what may be going on there. I am so happy I finally got a booter! Ahhh what a pita.

Cheers

Mine is working fine with this. I did Reversemode a few of the dll's awhile back though, so maybe that is why mine is ok. NightRaven at XDA had a similar problem (his would not finish boot up after the first reset) with his EXT package as well, I gave him mine, and his ROM worked fine again. I beleive I reverse moded NueCore.dll and nueDynamicClock.dll.

BTW, i would post mine for you, but I am just on my phone posting this. Sorry :(

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

HTC Dialer messed up / scroll bar on right - this is because the amount of usable screen area with 2302x is less than other builds. Where did it go? It made room for those fancy finger-friendly buttons along the bottom. There might be a regedit to change the amount of screen the dialer asks for from GWE but I don't know where it is. I'm using the stock WM dialer - saves 10Mb. Tachi may have the same problem, but doesn't use as much memory.

If you have a WM6.1 nk.exe, if you have too many modules, you will run out of virtual memory space and that can cause a whole lot of very difficult to track down problems. Reversemod foo.dll and the phone starts working - but the fact that foo.dll was a module wasn't a problem, the number of modules is. If you have a WM6.5 nk.exe module away - you get a whole lot more virtual memory. I am not aware of a WM6.5 native kernal for CDMA touch pro unfortunately.

I think this happens because the call/contact screen is back of the dialer skin, and the steps (intead they are empty) cause the bar appear.

I am getting certificate errors running most apps using sys 23049. Does anyone here, using the visual kitchen, have a 23049 vga sys that is working for them? Also I cannot change the ringtone either and the phone settings app stays open if you go into it. If someone has a working sys could you be ever so kind and post it?

Cheers

I an running 23049 on my QVGA 6800, cooked with PPCK, and have no problems with scrollbar or ringtones. These builds just keep getting better. looking all the time. Thanks joojoobee, for converting these files to work with PPCK.

Try adding the following lines to the boot.rgu in your OEMXIPKernel:
Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\LSOMACORE]
"Index"=dword:00000001
"Prefix"="DRM"
"Dll"="lsomacore.dll"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Filters\LsFilter]
"Order"=dword:00000001
"Dll"="LSFILTER.dll"

That will at least fix you sound/notification problem. The other stuff? Boy I don't know. Where did you get the SYS come from? Did you cook in .NET?

I still am not in a position to upload mine. But if you still need a ervius 23049 sys base later today, I will upload mine when I can.

Dear JooJoo,

My kitchen tool is not a PPCKitchen but uses BuildOS.bat en G'Reloc.exe to build roms, actually is the same tool that the guys, like PhamQuang, from PDAVIET uses. You say above to 'fix the file attributes BEFORE or DURING cooking', so goes the question.. Where do I do this? Because, I have any idea about what to do and where to do.
Please, may you clarify it?

Thanks and Regards,

Feel free to use the sys from my kitchen here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=513311

Be aware though that im using a native nk.exe and that my kitchen resets the file attributes during the cooking process.

I have been using PPCK with the unofficial files for some time now, with great results.
But I do not have a TP. And I am not trying to use the newer NK.
I am thinking of investing in a TP, but the TP2 seems to be a better deal.
With VZW VOGUE down to $9.99 with a 2yr., I think it's just a a matter of time that the TP will come down from $99.99.

If you want to have your kitchen do this for you, you should configure your batch file to do it BEFORE the NBH is built. Alternatively, you can use the attached batch file on that post. Put it in your "Send To" folder for your user profile, then you can right click on your SYS folder and "Send To" that batch file.

Apparently it is due to the larger buttons at the bottom of the screen. I use the attached in my ext phone package and no more scroll bar on the phone app.

Thanks for the direction. When using dump sorter I also moved some other files. I removed the .net framework and was going to replace it with a different netcf package. I forgot. I replaced the netcf in the sys and no more certificate errors. Only problem is the rom is slow as hell with the native kernel.

I thank you for your assistance again. I have booters. I just need to find out how to fix no2chem's nueDynamicClock-122. Even if I do not cook it in and just install it in .exe form then the phone does not boot. =P

Arghhh!!! I was putting together a new rom with the 23049 sys and inadvertently ran a batch file meant to recmod a folder in the root of my kitchen and wiped everything out! All my months of collecting oems, registry tweaks, etc gone :-(. I'm trying undelete utilities but they aren't sorting the files by folder or even by name for most of them. Any ideas on what I can do? Is there any dump utility that would sort by folder for the visual kitchen so at least I could recover what I had at the time of my last .nbh? Any help would be appreciated.

Just for fun. Follow the links to download the Duimp from my Sprint TP2. It's a 6.1 Build 21052 with TF3d and other goodies that may come in useful for the whole customizing gig. The TP2 does have similar Menu, notification, ect enhancements as the HTC Mega files that Da_G posted up. The SMS/MMS is much nicer via TF3D in this stock build. I also uploaded the stock Attributes for all files. In the post linked below you will find:

Sprint_Shipped_Touch_Pro2_21052_SYS_OEM_EXT.part1. rar
Sprint_Shipped_Touch_Pro2_21052_SYS_OEM_EXT.part2. rar
Sprint_Shipped_Touch_Pro2_21052_SYS_OEM_EXT_Attrib utes.rar
Sprint_Shipped_Touch_Pro2_21052_XIP.zip

Use them as you wish!

(Had to do something while waiting for the Hard SPL :mrgreen: But now we have what is need to keep the TP2 with the stuff we like from stock while adding our goodies when we go custom, but with 6.5 as the backbone...hopefully.)

Joo Joo I just posted this in caulklin's post. But check it out.

It is a new file system filter driver

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...36&postcount=2

Supposedly "Extendir is a file system filter driver that significantly increases the performance of your phone, in specific situations even up to 12 times as fast"

Looks interesting

Well, I guess I did get these up tonight! :D

PPCKitchen files for 23412 for the PPCK devs out there. The 96DPI is a mash up of 23409 DPI, some manually modified dll in a few packages and some converted png's. Thanks to the "Force Development" team for beating up their Titans yet again to test for me! Another FYI, the XIP is 23410. I did not hex it this time.

The attached XIP rar includes the Apache, Herman, Kaiser, Titan, Voctor and Vogue. All are spinlock patched except for the Apache.

SYS_23412_Common

SYS_23412_192DPI_0409

SYS_23412_96DPI_0409
http://www.4shared.com/file/13296759...6DPI_0409.html

Warning! If these files are used in any other kitchen other than PPCKitchen, please be sure that you fix the file attributes BEFORE or DURING cooking, otherwise problems will ensue (see FIX here). I have attached the removed packages as well if you do use these in another kitchen.

Thanks to Tom_Codon for the SYS and Force Development for DPI testing! :headbang:
