Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
I have been holding off flashing a new build since 23016 because of all the ui changes. I am running a Titan and screen space is always a concern. It appears 23034 is pretty good and I might cook it today. I remember seeing some posts (I don't remember if it was here or at XDA on Da_G's thread) about removing some redirects and removing some oem font reg keys. Would somebody be able to post those reg keys for me that I need to modify?
Thanks, Jeff |

The font reg keys? Dunno. I've never had to do anything font related. |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Having a problem typing using 23034... I've disabled the magnifier but when I type, if I type too fast, there is a bit of lag and skips some letters. The only way I can use 23034 is to type slooowww. Anyone know of a fix/workaround?
Not sure if this will cause more issues for me than what it's worth but... I went ahead and used gwes from 23031 dropped it into 23034 and now am able to type without the few millisecond delay and so far all seems good. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
One more question before I start cooking 23034. Is there an OEM for PPCK for an HTC Task Manager with the transparent icon?
Thanks, Jeff |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Joojoobee,
I found that in the instructions posted, the line for the “BuildBase” that includes ModuleDir= [KitchenBasePath]SYS_23016_Common[Archive] Should be: ModuleDir= [KitchenPath]SYS_23016_Common[Archive]. And the ModuleDir= [KitchenLangPath]SYS_23016_96DPI_0409[Archive] Should be: ModuleDir= [KitchenPath]SYS_23016_96DPI_0409[Archive]. Replacing the build numbers of course. After changing those items, everything works great. Thank you for putting together these cutting edge builds. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
2 questions...
1: is there a native 6.5 kernel for CDMA??? 2: What kitchen should I use for this and how to setup the kitchen. I hate building kitchens. I love cooking though!!! |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
What is the difference between COM3 and COM4, I do not understand it.
There are programs com4 work with a pagepool 16 and other programs work with a pagepool 4 depending on com. __________________ |

<br /> That's the one I actually use now. It's a snap to set up, really. All you need is to create the Herman folders under EXT, OEM and ROM. Create a folder in the root of the kitchen Called RELEASE_Rom and put the RUUUpdater for the touch pro in there. Then you need the romhdr.bin, os.nb.payload under ROM\Herman,OEMDrivers/packages for touch pro under the OEM\Herman folder and the OEMXIPKernel for the touch pro under ROM\Herman\Buildnumber. After that, add your EXT package OEM's to the EXT\Herman\COMMON folder. You can grab DomSim's visual kitchen files a few pages back and drop then in to SYS\23024 and ROM\Shared\23024 and get cooking. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Has anyone had a problem with Live Search? I cooked it into 23034 and when I run it I get and error message. It complains that it can not find the Publickey Token 31bf3856ad364e35, or one of its dependencies.
I cooked it into the 23403 build and it worked fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

For more information on what modules to recmod, there is a nice thread at everythingdiamond.com. It's a W.I.P. and I don't think it's all 100% accurate at this time, but it should give you a good idea. http://www.everythingdiamond.info/showthread.php?t=490 |
