Sorry, same post!

You'd think I was just sitting there refreshing over and over again, but I wasn't.:drunken: I was away from my laptop for a while and hadn't checked for some time, sat back down and thought to check and *poof*....there it was. A gift from the 6.5 God himself.

PPCK files for 23007. The usual stuff about IPSECVPN, Enterprise and LiveSearch being optional. And whatever else I normally say. The 96DPI are an exact copy of the 23004 ones I posted plus some minor changes to the option.xml. This is fine. According to Da_G (I looked myself. I checked the 23007 192 ones) the DSM's actually haven't changed and are still at 23000 but I put new files up just so there is no confusion.

FYI on the XIPs. The files are named 23007 just for ease of use and so there is not confusion, but are actually 23006. So, when you check the about screen, it will say CE OS 5.2.23006 (Build 23007.5.3.0). This is how this release came. I also packed them ALL into one rar due to the 5 file limit post. I added the apache XIP in to this one. The Herman is the only one I can personally verify.

SYS_23007_Common_updated

These include the Direcshow package, the mHubVO packager etc. I was not able to get youtube to play untill i did so, it was long time back.

still no luck :/

if im not mistaken, here are the packages that u speak of...
LockStreamDRM
DRM_Middleware
Dshow
Resource_Proxy
Streaming_SDK
mHubVO

i have tried 2 dif versions, all from same roms. still no luck :/ am i missing anything u can see that would have an effect?

The only thing different I noticed so far was the default IE home page. Definitely no 219xx stuff.

The XIPs I posted are 23006, I just named them 23007 so it is easier for PPCKitchen reconfiguration.

thanks for this - but I can't get the ROM to boot using the xip - I have a Nike and generally port the Kaiser one over to it, but no boot :(

Anything someone may be able to suggest that I am doing wrong? Never had an issue porting it before.

A couple of those XIPs wont give you a good port if you use them as a donor in XIPKitchen. Try porting from the Titan or the Vogue XIP.

I went ahead and made a SYS_23007_Common with compime.dll from 21731 and gwes.exe from 23001. The gwes.exe thing? Yeah, that looks like permanent changes that Microsoft is making to it. At some point, replacing it with an older version may not work. But for now, here ya go. My speculation on it is that MS is going to allow for apps to change the icon of a highlighted item, but since none do that currenty, you get whatever is cached in RAM there.

Compime.dll? Yeah, who knows. I admittedly just forgot to change it.:drunken:

Anywho, here is the direct link to the updated common for anyone who didn't manually fix. Just rename to use. I also updated my original post as well.

Yeah, I just cooked one up for the hell of it. It looks pretty much like 21925....useless cuz of all the weird GUI crap. I did notice that the start menu doesn't fade out the background image though.

I'm cooking up another 23007 now.

Im having issues with TF3d restarting and not loading on the 23007 sys. Anyone know what may be causing this. No problems in 23004. Most likely something in the sys I am using. I am also using Calkulin's kitchen.

If anyone has any insights on this, please let me know.

Thanks,

Give this attached herman xip a whirl. FYI, the XIP version is 21926, but I fixed it to say 21928 for the hell of it.Attachment 37765

Also, here's a mirror for Da_G's kitchen files in case rapidshare is giving anyone crap. (It usually does, it always seems to suck.)
