Depending on the Star_MenuGrid_*.cpr you have, You may need to edit that as well. 21195 had 2 specific images it used for the Honeycomb. Just in case you try to change it and it doesn't work, you will know where else to look. :mrgreen:

still a work in progress, but I don't plan on expanding it for a while, so I will share what I have already, it overwrites the startmenu prov with a blank at build time, because I'm lazy and don't like prov's

Sorry, this was out of 21189.

<\SYS\CHome\StartMenu_GridScene_240x320.cpr>
This file has been in different locations in various builds. The files in RED are the images it is looking for in these files.

Code:

<Form Width="240" Height="320">
  <StartMenu_GridScene ID="Scene">

  <GridView ID="Start Menu Items List" Top="2" Left="0" Width="240" Height="268" Columns="3" Scrollable="TRUE" HexagonGrid="TRUE" HorizontalWrapAround="TRUE">
    <Image ID="Selection" Left="0" Top="0" Width="96" Height="83" Source=".\StartMenu_Hexagon_Active.png" />
    <Layer ID="GridItem"  Width="96" Height="83" OnAction ="GridItemAction">
        <Layer ID="Normal">
                <Image ID="Hexagon Overlay Image" Left="0"  Top="0" Width="96" Height="83" Source=".\StartMenu_Hexagon_Inactive.png" ScaleStyle="Fit" />

                <Image ID="Image" Left="32"  Top="6" Width="32" Height="32" ScaleStyle="Fit" />

                <Text  ID="Text"  Left="13" Top="43" Width="70" Height="34" FontFamily="Tahoma" FontSize="7" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Top" Wrap="True" Trimming="EllipsisCharacter" ForeColor="#00FFFFFF" BackColor="#00000000" />
        </Layer>
    </Layer>

  <Layer ID="NoItems">
      <Text ID="Text" Width="240" Height="20" FontFamily="Tahoma" FontSize="10" ForeColor="#00FFFFFF" Wrap="False" HorizontalAlignment="Center" Trimming="Character" InnerTextType="Resource">shellres.dll,22596</Text>
  </Layer>

  </GridView>

  </StartMenu_GridScene>
</Form>

It's end result when flashed, these two files end up in <\Windows>.

This file and it's Landscape counterpart is also where you change the size of the Start Menu icons, and you can change the number of rows of icons as well, but you have to remember to edit the icon size to compensate for additional rows. This file and it's counterpart also end up in <\Windows> on the device once it is flashed.

Has anyone who's using the default WM Dialer, noticed their data connection staying on forever after an email sync, and thereby draining battery like a mofo?

Hey groove.

I've been running 6.5 all day (actually just flashed back to my 6.1 rom)

Even though the data bars were active at all time, battery life was pretty fantastic to be honest with you.

I never ended up checking my discharge rage, although with msn running all day/nite, battery was phenomenal.

Cool, maybe it isn't really connected all the time like I thought, and the high discharge rate was just a fluke.

I have noticed this on all my 6.5 builds. The data arrows show to be in an "active" session all the time. However, you are not in a true session. If you were truly in a data session constantly, 1) your battery would die quickly, 2) you would never be able to receive a phone call (would roll to VM if data were ACTIVE), 3) Well.. 1 and 2 are good enough.

Anyway, I have noticed this in all the builds. Don't know why they stay solid.

the constant connection can be caused from having live set to get email as they arive on the server

i have found the problem, becouse no welcome-center is started at the mobile phone m800 from eten glofiish.
a incompatible driver is fault for this problem.

my next problem:
i have the source from this forum (21198 all)

here are the problems:
1. peoples report that the active-sync is not working with my version

Well since I won't be back until tomorrow, I should just wait and spend some time before doing anything else. Thanks.
