Re: PocketSpeedTest - test your internet speed

This is strange. I was getting some pretty low speeds using the pocketspeed app yesterday. (201 kbit/s) I did a hardreset, and my speeds went up (750 kbit/s) Started putting back on some programs, a few spb things, slingbox, and opera mini 4.1. Checked the test again, and i'm back down to 235 kbit/s. Anyone know why an application would bring down my test results? thanks, dschoenike

Not sure.

I have slingbox installed, and about 15 other apps.

Thank you. I appreciate your insight. Since everything i use on a daily basis (slingbox, skyfire, vtap and resco radio) are working flawessly in my opinion, im not gonna worry too much about the pocketspeed results. Just wish i knew what app is slowing it down!! thanks again, dschoenike

Re: PocketSpeedTest - test your internet speed

I finally figured out what was slowing down my data connection. It was spb gprs monitor. With it installed, i got 200kbit/s, i just uninstalled it, now im getting 800 kbit/s. grrr! I wonder why that app would slow down my data dschoenike
