Re: sMMS Picture Mail Composer

Not too far away from a whole year without any update's. Any word on what's being worked on for a next version at least? PLEASE???? I'm a very busy person too with bad health issue's, and 50 hours a week at work, and family also, and 2 big project's a work on for free, so i understand time is limited, but almost a year later, SOME form of new's would be nice at least, to tease us for what's to come.

Re: sMMS Picture Mail Composer

To those that have "jumped ship" to Android, including myself and SomeGuyMMS I have been discussing the matter with him and we would like some input from the public. He and I were really impressed that Android handles MMS/picture mail quite easily with the stock messaging, Handcent (my personal favorite) does it even better. So we pose the question, what can sMMS bring to Android? Is there really a need?

Re: sMMS Picture Mail Composer

You will need to copy the CAB file to you phone using ActiveSync then execute the file through the file manager on the phone.

Re: sMMS Picture Mail Composer

Hear's someone in the audience "No, android is already really good, continue further developing WM version, it's light years away in GUI" LOL. I personally use android on my phone equally as often as i use WM, so from a good point of view from plenty of personal experience, no real need (i use Handcent actually, as mentioned) to develop for android as it's already great and solid. But WM is still plain in the GUI area, and would like to see some expanding movement on the GUI and or the way it works further.

I beg to differ. The GUI in windows is fine. Leave it the way it is.

Re: sMMS Picture Mail Composer

Well, someone who's been designing theme's and skin's for ages is just giving his personal opinion on the GUI and functionality. Sure it works, so does a calculator, but doesn't mean there's not stuff that can be modified to bring it to where everything else available is at. There's always room for improvement with everything, if one thinks otherwise, you've already lost and are behind. Every successful man knows this rule. And don't forget about "gallery" function we've been patiently waiting for ages to get done. Not a complaint, just a reminder since it's been forgotten apparently, no mentioning about it for long over a year. I'm hospitalized regularly due to a chronic sickness, but still work on coding project's and making theme update's in time eventually, but almost 2 years??? I donated cause this guys deserves it, and i always believe in contributing to help production. It pays to give.

Re: sMMS Picture Mail Composer

I received a picture mail the other day and when my smms program started I saw the countdown screen that used to come up if you hadn't donated money. I donated $10 to the cause long ago but sometimes I have to hard reset my phone and the same screen comes up. Normally I click donate and it remembers I have and unlocks all the features. Now when I click donate it goes to a website that doesn't exist. Has this program been left behind, and if so can you at least disable that wait screen for those of us that paid? Thanks!
