Unfortunately, no. This app makes use of the Sprint Picmail website.

I just installed sMMS on my touch pro after having it on my old mogul 6800. It's been a while and I don't remember what my password is to utilize the full version of the program. Any help?

Go to the picmail website. Here is the link for "I forgot my password." http://pictures.sprintpcs.com/forgotPassword.do

Here is what you're looking for I think:



Once sMMS is open on your phone, Click Accept on the EULA Screen
- Now Click the Continue button once the button is enabled
- You will get a Dialog box asking if you would like to enter your Picture Mail settings. For use in this tutorial, Click NO
- On the Menu loads, Click the Settings Button or go to Menu => Settings
- Add your Phone Number and Password from the Sprint Picture Mail site into the appropriate fields.
- Now Click Save
- Click Activate. You will receive a Thank You message.
- Click Exit
- Reopen sMMS from Start => Programs

i was looking to try smms ... i use arcsoft currently on my sprint touch pro....

one questions ... when u compose a mms and u start typing the persons name next to To: does it search your contacts book and then u tap on name... or inorder to select someone from your contacts u have to click on the to: button then search and scroll from there?

with arcsoft... u just start typing name on the compose form and it populates the field with persons name.. makes it real fast

Nope, you have to click the To Link or the Center D-Pad. The issue is, sMMS allows you to send Pics to email addresses as well as mobile numbers. What do you auto populate the field with, number or email? It has been discussed here many times but no clear process was nailed down. The vote was split down the middle and determined that it wasn't that big of an issue and the way it works was just fine.

thanks for clarifying .... my thought would be if i typed in patrick... and i had a name patrick in my contacts... all fields with numbers and emails would populate ... as like a drop down from the to: then i would select the number or email address from patrick that i would want to send to.....

and if i wanted to manual type in patricks email or an email that wasnt in contacts.. i would just continue typing it in next to the "to" field manually....

do u know if this would conflict with arcsoft... should i uninstall first prior to installing smms or wont conflict ....?

one other question... sorry...

do u have to compose a pic from smms... or can i be in my photo album... see a pic that i want to send then go to options and when i click send via.....Smms will be an option there..?

IS sMMS intercepting incoming messages on the touchpro and the diamonds...?

I've been hanging on... I just open sMMS every other day just to make sure I don't have anything there. I had 12 pictures I missed out on....
