sMMS Picture Mail Composer

Go to settings/menu/advanced settings. Check enable intercept and click save. It will return to settings, click save. Exit, and try it again. It should intercept, unless you have a Diamond/Pro. Those devices use a bit different messaging for picmail and it does not work on them yet.

sup all, whats the deal with smms i paid for the full version been having retrieval issues, i cant sign into the forum its saying my email and passord are no good and ive emailed the admin twice and they havent gotten back to me any help from anybody would be great

I can PM them on the website and see what is the problem. DeciBel is ususlly good at geting back to those in need of help but remember this is a hobby operation and sometimes it can take awhile to get stuff done when you have other obligations, family stuff, the holidays all on your plate.

Yeah that is strange, there is a very good chance that he has replied and the email is in your Spam/Junkmail folder. If not, send me a PM with your email address and I'll create your account, reset your password, etc.

Hey all:

I've had smms for a few months now, and even tho it sends the picture (it says message sent) the other person never receives my pics!? HELP?

I can open pics received just fine with smms, tho.

I have HTC Touch.

It is also updated with the latest version.

Sometimes you may have to send twice. Go to your sent box and see if the pic is actually showing up as a sent picture....if it is just a white box then it was unsuccessful...try it again...

Yep, pic sent shows up in my sent folder, just fine. Yet no one I send it to ever receives it. Their number I'm sending it to is correct....I've even deleted and re-installed smms and it still doesn't work.

In the beginning, people DID successfully get my pics sent via smms, but only a couple of times, and even then, only at random. Weird!

Yes, and it also works fine.

Questions:

In Advanced Settings within smms:

Should I have 'enable intercept' checked or unchecked?

And when I clicked on Menu within Advanced Settings, it gave options to 'Disable consistent intercept' or 'cancel' I hilighted 'Disable consistent intercept' but don't know if it took or what that does/means,etc....

So, if anyone has any tips for me on how my settings should be, let me know.

Oh and I AM on the Sprint data share/Vision plan thing to where I should be allowed to send/recieve pics. (course they want you to use only their stupid way of doing it, but...).

Could it possibly be a carrier issue? Are the people you're attempting to send to on the same service provider, or does it seem to be random? Also, I know it sounds simple, but you're sure the people who aren't getting the messages are capable of receiving picture mail, right? Again, I know these are simple questions, but it's best to rule out the most obvious things first.
