Re: Opera Mobile 9.405!!!!

I think the extra spaces are something isolated to pocketcm. I just tried touchpal with opera and it works!!! Touchpal is different and will take some getting used to but its supposed to be pretty good so I think I'll give it a whirl. That was pretty much the only thing holding me back on the new opera mobile, otherwise its pretty good, love the zoom

Any suggestions?

Re: Opera Mobile 9.405!!!!

Can anyone help me fix my problem? I have a sprint touch and xt9 and abc keyboards don't work. The 20 keyboard that you use for passwords works fine. It's just alittle annoying to switch keyboards. Thanks

Sorry, but this is not true. I have the spaces issue myself, and I've never installed nothing related to pocketcm. I only use the stock SIP, or the hard keyboard. So we def need a fix for this. It's prob something related to the fact that this is a native VGA app, just modded for QVGA.

thats strange because my stock keyboards all work but not pocketCM. I agree though this does need a fix, but for people who were having trouble and using pocketCM, they should try touchpal because it works. Maybe the issue is device specific too? I have a bell touch (vogue)...

Re: Opera Mobile 9.405!!!!

I thought opera operated on a REMOTE server? When I go to a site like dslreports, it is showing my sprint broadband connetion. as well, when I run a speedtest, I am only getting the sprint BB speed, not the server speed,

In comparisson, when I run the same tests on the skyfire, I have a had time finding a speed test that works, but when I do find one it reports 3MB connections, so I imagine this is the SF SERVER and not my connection. But, dslreports is blocked by SF so other sites must be used.

SF is SO much faster loading the pages on the mogul, it is just silly. opera does have the nice iphone like slide around the page, but at the expense of slower loading it ain't worth it to me.
