i'm using the moto q.. i tried the posted link, and the hack- for both i got that the 'file's not intended for this device.' is it a no go for the Q?

Moto Q uses a different version of WM. It uses Smartphone edition, which isn't compatible with most WM PPC version editions of software. The PPC WM phones have touchscreens.

works great on the mogul. you guys using winrar? thats the way i open it, on the computer, then install the .exe file
