Change your phones (not SMS-Chat) setting to "keep a copy of messages in sent messages folder." It's not an SMS chat thing it's a device setting

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

Hello,
We are preparing a next version of SMS-Chat. One of the new features is smiles.
We have so far established 5 smiles for inclusion into SMS-Chat:
#1. :) same as :-)
#2 :( same as :-(
#3. ;) sames as ;-) same as ') same as '-)
#4. :D sames asоно :-D
#5. :* same as :-*

The problem is that we want to include only these smiles that will be rendered correctly on most other phones (not necessarily with WM and not necessarily with SMS-Chat).

This is why we need to know which smiles (apart from the 5 mentioned above) you do use on a regular basis in your daily SMS conversations.
NB Please specify them as I specified above (symbols, NOT pictures). For this tick the option below text entry window "disable smiles in text" otherwise it's going to be a mess.

PS Thanks lot in advance. I will not be able to answer any other questions unless it's emergency. With all support and registration issues you can refer to our online form, you'll get an answer: http://vitotechnology.com/en/support/

I dunno about you guys, but I have seen these being used more frequently where the equal sign is used for the eyes instead of the colon:

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

Has anyone been able to figure out the .skin files for this program yet? Changing the bmp files is easy enough but it's useless without knowing how to change the background and text colors I tried copying over the old white skin from the previous version and the app won't launch. Must be some missing stuff in there that the new version is looking for. I love this app but today it became completely unusable while was outdoors in the sun. I couldn't see the screen at all, whereas I could see it fine with the older version. I emailed VITO but haven't heard a word back yet.

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

looks like the new 1.1 version is out..now has a changeable skin option and smileys are showing up for me, good job.
2 skins are loaded, black and grey, and a skins folder with graphics but the .skn file doesn't seem to easily editable.

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

I e-mailed Vito Technologies. I told them in the next update, if they could make the top right softkey on the keyboard an alternative button to send text. Rather than touch the screen.
