Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

Is anyone using this in conjunction with FunContacts? I've been using SMS-Chat for several months now, and just downloaded the recent update of Fun Contacts to try it out. The problem I'm having is if I use Fun Contact to select a contact to text, it switches over to SMS-Chat, but when I start typing the message, SMS-Chat will suddenly quit. Doesn't happen everytime, but fairly often. It never happens when I start the message process directly from SMS-Chat. Anyone else tried the combo and had anything similar happen?

I had the same issues. I actually purchased FunContact because I liked SMSChat so much. Seems like after I purchased FunContact I started having issues with SMSChat crashing. I got rid of both when Sprint's WM 6.1 upgrade came out - it has threaded SMS so I had no more need for the FC and SMSChat.

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

Couple of things I noticed with SMS-Chat since after the WM 6.1 upgrade:

1. If you edit your any of your contacts SMS-CHat (or the other VITO app I use Eye Photo) will not start, will need to do a soft reset (actually it's been like that even before the WM 6.1 update).

2. Before, if a txt message had a phone number or URL in it, if you brought up the "options" menu for the message there would be the choice to "call number" or "go to URL". Now you basically have to use the stylus to make sure you click exactly on the number or URL.

3. When somebody send me a pic, clicking the link to take you to the sprint pic site to see the pic, a message says "user has deleted the album". Yet if you click that very same link from the default txt messaging app, it goes to it just fine.

I have sent VITO Technologies e-mails about the multiple times, and NEVER have gotten any type of response.

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

Guys, I am having an issue with SMS chat. When I have SMS chat open and it is the active window, and then receive a new text, the new message notification LED turns on and does not turn off unless I do a soft reset.

Has anyone else seen this?
