Transfer Caller Announcement to BT headset

I have a question, Did a search on this site and on google. How do you rename the file from zip to cab. Tried it several different ways and it's not working. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Any quidance would be appreciated. Thanks,

Bonnie

bbrennan: If you are downloading it from your phone, I think you can just do a "Save As.." instead of just "save" so that you can change the extension when you download it. Or it seems like you may be using "File Explorer" to try to change the extension and it won't let you. I use Total Commander for my file explorer and I'm able to change the extension because it shows it to me.

Try those things and let me know if it works, if now I will just zip it and private send it to you, then you should be able to extract and install.. let me know and enjoy.

I've tried downloading with the phone and on my pc. Can't rename either. When I download to the pc I keep getting an error that the file is invalid or corrupted. I'd appreciate it if you could send it to me. Thanks,
Bonnie

Ok, i'll pm it to you. But on your PC you need to right click it to "Rename", not left-click to run.

Hey Bad Sector, have you considered being able to skip the screen after reset? Basically, IDTransfer is always on unless someone goes into the .exe or control panel and turns it off. I would imagine that this has been brought up before, but just wanted to check.

I will add it to the 1.4 version

Maybe a while for next release though.. I like it how I have it now, lol.. and it works great. But thanks for the input, and if I do a 1.4 I'll be sure to add that feature.

Cool. Not a big deal. It just seems to hang the reset process sometimes while it is loading that screen.

Well, the new version won't boot on start-up unless you make it. Unless you put a shortcut of it in your Startup folder, or when you uninstalled a previous version it didn't remove the shortcut.

Yes, if the link is in the Startup Folder, the program will start on every restart. If you don't want it to hang at startup, just remove the shortcut in the StartUp folder and then you can just launch the program whenever you want. ok?
