I assume you did't do a PIM update before the ROM? You should still be able to sync them over from your PC. After that though, SPB Backup does have a PIM backup setting as well.

I am not sure about which app you used to backup PIM, but I suspect, unlike a full backup, PIM backup does not have a self-extractor. You may need to install the orifinal backup app and install VIA the app.

i had the same question and found that mail2web works great. (theres a tutorial on here, just have to search for it). if you're like myself and don't have a copy of Outlook on pc (i only have Outlook express) to sync contacts, tasks, email, and calendar, mail2web does it too. after i did my rom update, i just set up mail2web again on phone and it placed all my contacts back onto phone. Even if u don't push email, this little "backup" feature is worth the easy set up. I also have SPB Backup for a total phone backup, but read the same, not to use after a ROM update.

What is the difference?! What all does Spb Backup.....well....backup?

p.s. Sorry for the stupid question, but I looked it up online, and it just didn't make any sense to me. I'm not a PPC Savvy as most of you...lol

Where did you find your copy of SPB Backup? I need one. Thanks.

I couldn't get SPB backup to work on my Mogul, I used Sprite Back up, and it works perfectly. SPB just kept freezing up.

It's likely that another app you have installed is interfering with it. It's good that Sprite doesn't have issues with whatever that app is.
