Because, we aren't paying for it, so in reality we are stealing the service from them. They didn't ruin anything, if you really want Sprint TV get a Touch.

But MobiTV is also giving me an Invalid ID error message as well right now (Both Sprint TV and Mobitv)

Honestly, the amount of money they make off of the phone itself and the service we pay for, they can afford to sacrifice...the internet package comes with sprint TV and i have that package and yet they do not make it for the mogul...to me, they are stealing from us, not the other way around...

If you have a data plan that includes all the Sprint TV Channels, then you are getting ripped off and should consider going to a lower priced data plan. But also there are pleanty of people here who have Verizon that were able to access this for free and not pay a dime for it, so is Sprint screwing them too?

get off your soap box and take these conversations to a thread about ethics. save this thread for those trying to get this to work or are having problems. I am still wondering about the ip problem I am having. is it caused by the new sprinttv cab? I'm not able to activesync and my evdo is having problems connecting.... does anyone know?

The reason why I have a problem with people complaning that it's not working is because.
A) This is a hacked application that was never intended to be used on other devices other then the HTC Touch.
B) When you bought your phone you knew that Sprint TV wasn't included.

The only people in my opinion who should be complaning are the people with the Touch who are having issues with it not working.

and honestly if you really want to help get it to work, why not join the site where this came from and help the people who did hack this for us.

Many posters seem to want to hang Sprint for all this, when after all it is unofficial, unreleased software (mind you Lord Yuz did a fantastic job porting it).

if we look at the nature and type of actual service errors it starts to appear as though the reason STV is not widely available would seem to be more of an infrastructure/capacity issue.

Perhaps its a Mobi backbone problem, maybe its that there are far more initial users (valid and otherwise) than originally anticipated and the system is straining.

STV is fine and MobiTV seems lost the preview, everything blueout without the schedule but still loads... Please note though that sometimes the network was overwhelmed (for a reason ) and there will be some weird error message and it should be back to normal after some time....

Yeah I was getting the blue background for awhile, now just the VID error, but that's what I'm thinking too, I've seen this a few times before and it starts working in a few hours.

speak for yourself. I am paying for it and so are a lot of others here and we can't access it. That is BS!!!
