Figured as much. I was unsuccessfully trying to let you know that I couldn't figure out a funny comeback in response.

Re: Dashwire 2.0 (Updated 6/24/08)

For those of you running Windows Mobile 6.x and looking for any of the following fixes:
  • Support for hi-res contact pictures (i.e. HTC Touch Diamond)
  • UI support for hi-res and wide screen phones
  • Prevent client from randomly coming to the front of the screen
  • Scattered WM 6.1 related issues (content not uploading, unable to connect, SMS not sending)
  • Photo strip image cache on storage card by default (device if no SD card available)
  • Photo strip can display multiple rows of photos
  • Small fixes and refinements to UI functionality
  • Fixes and enhancements related to network and server communications
...then feel free to download our latest beta client by visiting http://m.dashwire.com/beta on your mobile phone web browser.

You can also download it if running .NET CF 2.0 or higher on your phone.

Feedback, thoughts, and everything in between appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Dashwire 2.0 (Updated 6/24/08)

Thanks very much! I hope this fixes the pop-up issue for me! you guys rock

1 thing that has always bothered me: since I install an updated ROM almost weekly it seems stupid that everytime i install a fresh dashwire it asks me to delete the 544 contacts that I have from either my phone or the dashwire server. I find this stupid because there is 544 contacts in both places, and they are identical. would be nice to have some other option for advanced users that know nothin has changed

Re: Dashwire 2.0 (Updated 6/24/08)

will dashwire also have the ability to also sync my emails from all my email accounts? what about making dashwire into a picture mail program as windows mobile currently does not offer one. What about an option for the contacts to also add the contacts on my phone during install to what is currently on the dashwire servers? what about changing the contact icons (the file index card looking thing) with something cooler like the dashwire logo? that way we know what is a dashwire contact and what is a windows contact? what about having multible contact lists? like one for business, one for personal and one for family and one for my many women? So when i click on contacts it would say please select from the following, business, personal family playa! what about a news feed intergrated into dashwire and the today screen? that way we can get all the latest dashwire news and all... Also the google phone from htc will be out soon will that be supported and will dashwire make its own OS for a phone? it could be called the d-phone and it could we shapped like the letter "D"

I agree with shaggy!! Any progress on the battery consumption yet? That is the one thing that keeps me from being set on auto all the time!!!

Dashwire New Beta = MMS for BELL

With the new Dashwire beta http://m.dashwire.com/beta you can now send a picture from the dashwire client on your Bell vogue to another phone. The other phone will recieve an SMS from you with a link to the picture on Dashwires server. For us Bell users this is almost as good as if Bell had implemented MMS.

BTW there are some bug fixes in the new beta too.
