BTW there are some bug fixes in the new beta too.
I've been waiting on this one.....I was thinking Sprint users would love that implimentation as well!!!!

The funny thing is that I didn't even realize we slipped this one in. I get the picture sharing scenario, but I've been focusing my efforts with the dev team on getting mobile social network sharing integrated into the client. Coming soon...

Yeah, this needs to be improved. We do it the Exchange way for now (i.e. you uncheck the contacts box and it's wiped), to prevent contact dupes from going out of control. New sync architecture being fine tuned for Symbian launch, which will dramatically improve contact sync, including the hassle you're talking about.

Not a whole lot yet. Then again, we're mostly focused on other platforms and features for now. Battery optimization will come at some point...promise.

So when i click on contacts it would say please select from the following, business, personal family playa! what about a news feed intergrated into dashwire and the today screen? that way we can get all the latest dashwire news and all... Also the google phone from htc will be out soon will that be supported and will dashwire make its own OS for a phone? it could be called the d-phone and it could we shapped like the letter "D"
  • Architecture can def support e-mail, just have to prioritize
  • Sweet things in works for m2m media sharing & alerts. Coolest feature we've built (but never launched) by miles
  • Don't get the contacts request
  • Blue dude a little too close to our hearts to dump
  • Contacts undergoing revamp, with goal of big holiday launch (layout, groups, fields, socialized, experiential, etc.)
  • Liked the playa! joke...solid stuff
  • News-like idea in the plans, though prob next year
  • Def want to support Android at some point...not sure the "hold out until we get our own phone" approach will work though
  • Also looking to adjust diet from 4 nights of Capn Crunch and 3 of microwavable popcorn at some point

HTC Touch Diamond not present in their phones lineup, but present on their video tour.
Crashes on Juicy's ROM for TELUS users after syncing.

Sent feedback through their site. Gonna wait for some response.
AMAZING JOB BY DASHWIRE!

Re: Dashwire 2.0 (Updated 6/24/08)

Maybe DW should add some kind of a sound notification like Meebo has on their Dashboard. People can immediately respond to the message when it arrives, rather than being notified by the phone, then going back to dashboard and then doing.

Wow, I can already think this is going to be the best app ever. Think desktop tool? mmm.
