Hey can you list the process of what you did to install? I am having trouble getting use of all the channels, I now am able to get all the icons for the channels however I click on one and then they bring to another loading screen. Did you install 1000 and then upgrade to 1005 or what? thanks

well, i install it on my main memory and it boots on and everything,, but the channels wont load,,.. anybody know what seems to be the problem..???

Either I'm stpuid or Mr. Cant Get Right.....I got the 1st TV to work last month but for some reason the upgrade is not working on my phone.... i'm doin something wrong.....Can someone put a step by step posted up....

replacing the cache files with the ones in the zip worked for me on my mogul. thanks.

well, i install the sprint tv 1005 on to my maid memory.. but the channels wont load,.. any idea,,,?

I downloaded the tv file and it worked and installed. However when the program first run on my mogul it said it needed to be upgraded so it downloaded an upgrade and worked. however there are no channels it says that I dont have any subscriptions. I have the 25dollar power vision with tv and navigation. Does anyone know how to get the channels working I can access any channels.

I was having all kinds of trouble making this work i was only getting several channels. Now after following the below process i have full access to EVERYTHING!!! with the one exception of the discovery channel. Giant respect for those who compiled these files. you are my heros and have saved me from an eternity of bordem at Dell.

1.Copied the cab file from SprintTV_PocketPC_Vogue_1005.zip (found in this thread) to phone and installed but did not start the program.

2. Copied the files folder structure inside cache.zip (also found in this thread) to program files\sprinttv\cache.

3. start sprint tv.

This was done on a Sprint mogul or PPC-6800. If you havent already get PDANET it is as useful as the tv is :)

hey josh, are you able to get all the channels under "Sprint TV Xtra" as well?

It worked for me. Question when I click a channel there are folder and then shows do these not work. Are these subscriptions or does just what is currently being aired work?

Is this cache.zip woking for everyone having the problems connecting, or only on some devices? The reason I ask is because I have a Treo 700WX, and have never had a problem, and if people think it would help, I can post the cache.zip from my device.

(I doubt it is device dependant, but you never know)

holasenor - I dont see anything that says "sprint tv extra" but i do get all the live channels as well as all the comedy central on demand stuff.... is there something else i should be getting?

Also Could we start posting channel lists i think these channels can easily be shared as they are named in plain text in the Cache.zip file that is in this thread. I should have spike TV and dont.

I've submitted to temptation, at least temporarily. Lets just hope this doesn't stick on the bill.

I don't get the Sprint Xtra channels eventhough it says I'm subscribed to them.

On a second note, how do we get rid of the "Press Select to Keep Watching" pop-up? Is this a dll file?

Sprint RAdio should be part of Sprint TV, for whatever reason it's not on there yet. I don't know about the 2nd part of the question.

I agree Sprint radio would be cool as well, as far as the message, I don't know if there is a way to disable it, but just hit the volume key occasionally, as long as it knows your still there, the message won't bother you! (A band-aid at best I know, but the best I can offer for now)

thanks for the cache file fix....it seems that EVERYTHING works now...even discovery mobile..this is a great program, especially for a dad with 3 kids.

If anyone is getting the Sprint TV Xtra channels, can you post your cache files to here.

PPC6700 (WM6, Sprint) here.. I loaded up the Sprint TV cab, got up to the channels screen and was stuck on loading. I replaced the cache directory and everything worked for an afternoon, now, the channels are there but the submenus hang at the loading screen.

Have the same problem. Noticed that after copying the cache folder to the SprintTV folder, the files disappeared from the folder. Kept the file explorer open and refreshed the screen to figure that one out.

However, while the program is open before selecting the "Sprint TV" option (the other is the "Sprint En Vivo" option), if the files are copied at that time to the cache folder, the channels do appear and you can watch TV.

what is the deal with updated channels.my daughter has been watching the same hanna montana shows for 2 weeks anybody know how often the channels are updated

Ok, so I got it to work, I think the lack of channels had to do with signal strength believe it or not, the fuller i had the more channels i got. Also I have no option to subscribe to anything at all or an option for sprint extra/xtra the channels I do have are as follows

I have installed the 1000cab then the 1005 cab and then copied the cache over prior to starting it up. After startup that is what I have...hope this helps someone. Also if anyone knows why I got the Sprint TV En Vivo let me know thanks!

I have a Touch and was getting NO channels on my Sprint TV so I installed all of these files (1000, 1005, and cache). I'm now trying to reset my phone back to original settings and the En Vivo won't go away! tried clearing all data, multiple hard resets, deleting files via PC connection, and even deleting registry entries...but it wont go away!

where does this channel lineup come from?

the en vivo is on my touch also so i think it loads from sprint

Where is the 1005 files? I've deleted and tried reinstalling and they didn't ask me to upgrade this time.

im seriously having problem with my sprint tv now. before i was able to watch everything with all the channels that sprint offers but now im just getting this crazy sign of loading on the screen with nothing coming up and i even did hard reset to my device. thought it would be because i did something wrong on device. i didnt have time to go through and troubleshoot it also i had to download the new rom too. so i was like its a good excuse to do both at same time. after doing the hard reset still my f'n piece of s*** not working with sprint tv. i saw josh talking about sprint tv 1005 with cache zip on it can some give me that file or direct me to there so i can get that........and also is anyone else having problem with their sprint tv like im having......

just a little tweak for those who are not able to get all the channel line-up of sprint tv

from your mogul it would only subscribe you to sprint xtra along with basic package. but for you to get radio nfl, nascar, tlc, fox, bravo, usa, discover, etc. PREMIUM & Exclusive channels. take one of your old regular powervision phone and call sprint customer care to do esn change and put that on your account. and then go to my content and subscribe it to all of the channel packages and wait for 2 hours to get it on your account once you do that. call customer care back and do esn change and wait 1 to 2 hours to provison it completely and run sprint tv . boom sha-ka-laka there you have all the channels that you were dying for ;).........and radio would work too..........

could someone pm me with the cache files attachment? i dont know what the deal is but i cant get the attachment.

1005cab is...and i cant seem to find the post with the vogue 1005 cab but no need heres what you do, sign in then navigate to the forums then go to General PPC Info->Pocket PC Software->then find this top sticky and to the right of the title there will be a word that says 'Files' click on it and it will show you and you are able to dload all the files that have been posted in this thread including everything you need for STV which includes the 1000, 1005, and the cache hope this helps people...remember to sign in first though!

Aww I was just starting to enjoy my Sprint TV. I think it's time to get a Slingbox though!

I'm on the sero plan with a new Touch (and I had all the channels for a couple hours), but then I accidentally deleted Sprint tv from my programs file (due to double program icons) I then reloaded cab from my windows Dir and used the Cache folders posted in this thread.

I now have only the limited channels no speed, Vh1 ect...

Is anyone else getting their service downgraded automatically after initial useage via subscription?

Is there a single cab or cache folder that allows all channels like I had before? or is this just sprint defaulting to your plan later after initial store purchase?

The sprint store did tell me I could exchange my Touch, cause I hosed my sprint tv, but it's a hassle, and now I don't know if my new touch will have all the channels, with others reporting an issue too. but I don't know If it is a specifically related issue

Alright an update... I now have a sprint En Vivo option, I thought it was a spanish option and I speak spanish so I figured VAMOLOS! It's not spanish, and the channels work, some of them take a long time to load up but MTV and everything seems to be working. The sync up is awful though and the video is grainy, hardly worth it considering other multimedia options online.

I just got a "downgrade" on my channels, but I'm on the SERO plan, however in the Sprint TV application it says I'm subscribed to Sprint TV Xtra and Sprint TV Premier.

But here are the channels I now get:

According to Sprint's homepage http://datapack.sprint.com/Default.html, I'm supposed to be getting CNN, ABC, CBS, etc. and since it says I'm subscribed to the Premiere pack I'm also supposed to be getting channels like comedy central and stuff.

As a quick BTW (which I don't know if it's been said elsewhere in this thread) - if Sprint TV is really quiet for you, make sure you've turned up the main system volume to max before launching it. You'll find the volume becomes nice and loud without having to use the volume adjustment of the program (left and right).

And after using the Cache folder fix as posted here earlier, I'm apparently getting all the stations without 'must subscribe' notices.
