Is there any way to combine the Today Screen default view with the detail views of PhatPhinger?

What I really want is a PhatPhinger theme with forecast that takes up less space on the Today screen. Does anyone know of such a beast or have any suggestions on how to get something like that?

Yes - it's pretty easy to do. I did hook up a classic WeatherPanel theme with PhatPhinger popups - on a Treo 800w theme.

Post a screenshot of what you're thinking about...

I'm not overly good with Photoshop or with layouts, so be warned LOL.

I don't care about the actual Today screen layout as long as it shows the current conditions, the forecast, and the city. I want something with this info that's about 50% less tall than PhatPhinger 122. I want to keep the PhatPhinger detailed forecasts, charts, etc, though, so I don't want to go back to the default.

i just found out about weatherpanel a few weeks ago, these themes take it to a whole other level!! thanx again storyr!!!

Yeah, WP is a definite must have. It also can be activated via Mobile Shell now.

I want to change the backround to black on the weatherpanel detail pages. In Phatfinger IV they are a purple. What file controls that backround?

Open the image named phat_back_purple.png and fill it with black...
