Re: {{Manila Mod}}Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.0{{6-Jun-2010}}
However, Nrgz has not been given a green light to upload Cht 1.8.5 roms yet. Not sure why that's happening, as the cab will be available upon official version release.

Well, I did DL the ROM though... Like the new touches added into the Tasks and Calendar options & the Taskbar/Softkeybar Skinning works perfectly (6.5.X). Can't wait for the cab release so I can install on my ROM of choice.

haha x2 ^^
I've flashed more ROMs than I can count on a calculator so it really has become less of a headache especially with everything backed up and organized lol... I usually flash a different ROM every week (which is a huge decrease from every other day) lmao... |

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro2 (Sprint): Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)
Well, after a week of playing with 1.8.0, I've decided to revert back to 1.7.1 as I find it more stable, less "laggy", and doesn't chew up as much RAM on my TP2. I was using Bing Navigation since TeleNav couldn't find the address I was looking for. Due to the heavy resouce drain 1.8.0 was causing, Bing shut itself off multiple times, causing a 45 minute drive to become 1 hour and 5 minutes, almost making me late for a pick-up that could've potentially cost my company a lot of money. My ram usage was idling around 74%-77% ON 1.8.0. So far I'm holding under 70% on 1.7.1. I haven't heard anyone else mention a RAM issue; but as much as I enjoy the new toggle switches on the new version, I'll be waiting to see if 1.8.5 runs more efficiently for my needs. If not, 1.7.1 will always have a home on my SD card. |
