The top's pretty noticeable but the bottom isn't really in this pic, but on my previous wallpaper the bottom was very noticeable too... I searched for a patch file or something but couldn't come up with anything...

Check your registry and see if the value for this entry is set to 1 or 0
Should be set to 0 for WM6.5

HKCU\Softwrae\HTC\Manila\Co0kie\WinMo6.5.x

Where did you apply the Today screen wallpaper from?
Did you do it from within Sense, using the lockscreen wallpaper on the settings sense tab?
I am trying to think why it wouldnt be aligned, as mine is perfect on WM 6.5 and WM 6.5.x.
Still thinking, in the meantime, you may wanna try applying the wallpaper and skin the bars again.
Not really sure why you are having an issue, as Titanium has always had that feature.

Try it the way I asked above and see if it makes any difference.

Why would I use the lockscreen wallpaper tab if I'm trying to set the wallpaper in Titanium..?? That's got me a bit confused :confused1: lol

Nevermind then, lol.
You will find that if you are running CHT, there is an option to skin the CHT lockscreeen, right?
Well, there has always been an option on the actual Settings "Tab" in sense, to set the lockscreen wallpaper for WinMo.
Well that same setting sets the Titanium Home screen wallpaper.
But by all means, don't try it, if you are confused. :confused1:

lol... :toothy7:

That's what I was saying I originally did, set the wallpaper from the actual settings tab, but meaniwhile still using the CHT skinned taskbar/softkey bar... And that's how that image I posted above was produced... Stock lockscreen wallpaper changed + CHT taskbar skinning = unaligned for me...

Two questions, I removed the carrier text using the CHT editor, is there a way to remove the bar where the text was? also can I have just the compact flip clock and the weather animation without the gray background. While changing it to the compact clock, the gray background is a little bit lower than the flip clock and doesnt look good. I know Santod has some transparent cabs but not sure which one to use for which and whether the cabs are kinda inbuilt into CHT.

In my Co0kie Mods Thread (transparencies and More),
you will find these cabs that I copied from there for you:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/attach/cab.gif No Top Curtain.cab
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/attach/cab.gif No Clock Background.cab
Those will remove both items for you. :)

Santod, since I havent bothered you for couple of days, thought it was about time.. the quicklink for lock didnt work before I copy pasted the manila file. Do I have to do that everytime I delete the quicklink and add it someother time? since my lock quicklink was working and I deleted the quicklink since I had to place another app, now I added the lock quicklink again and the phone isnt locking up.

Are you using the CHT lockscreen?
Or the default WinMo lockscreen?

You may want to try this as well.
Whenever I change icons, if applying a new one, I usually have to delete all files in Application Data\HTC\ProgLauncher (*.bmg files) and restart.

So: Change icons, delete cache, then restart.
Hope that helps.

If you are using the default lockscreen(not CHT), then you need to install the fix for the lock icon to work with the default lockscreen.
Which is posted in the OP, under known issues and fixes.

Or use the hotfix in the OP. :)
Either way, glad you got it working again.

Re: {{Manila Mod}}Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.5{{19-Jun-2010}}

Santod, I did the hotfix before. The problem happened when I deleted the quicklink after doing the hotfix and when I added the quicklink again, the lock quicklink didnt work. I even did a soft reset but didnt work. so had to redo the hotfix.
Looks like everytime you delete the lock quicklink and add it again we have to do the hotfix, its something that you might want to look at. The other thing I noted is that when I restart my phone, I dont see the words launching sense anymore, this happened after I changed the wallpapers and did the soft and taskbar skinning. not sure if it is just my phone or not.

Does anyone else's phone feel "chunky" after installing this ???

I even disabled animations and still "chunky"...
Maybe I did something wrong?

I'd really like to get this working as I want my appointments on my home screen but I dont want the phone to feel all laggy...

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

Didnt realise I posted in the wrong thread, so copy pasted it here.. what about the second question?

Santod, quick question, when I restart my phone, without running any apps when I check on the memory usage its around 70%, is that normal? I dont have any apps running, the only thing I can think of is CHT. Is it supposed to memory hog that much when you start the phone? or does all touchpro2 runs with a 70% usage when it starts?

When I click on the built in quicklink for restart sense, I see the wordings Launching sense, but when I restart my system I don't see the words I have to press the start button for the phone to work.

You have 288 MB's of Ram, CHT and all of manila uses about 1.5 MB's.
I would hardly say that CHT makes your usage that jigh.
Most roms do seem to run pretty high on the Ram usage, right after a fresh boot.
If you want to do a check for yourself, since it varies on different roms.
Load up your rom, after a fresh flash or hard reset, and check usage prior to installing CHT.
Then install CHT and check it again.
The difference is actually pretty minimal.

I know you answered it but I have attached pics of my home screen. As you can see, it says 80% usage and the processes doesnt show cht how do you find how much % cht is using and do you think I can get that 80% down to 60%?

CHT is integrated into manila.
So it is included, along with all your tabs and all of Sense, in the manila.exe.
Yours is actually using twice what mine is for manila. Though still not a lot.
As well as your services.exe. as well as your cprog.exe and device.exe.
Not sure why, probably rom related or other apps you have running or had running, that left behind some background process or something.
Though, you can see, though your manila.exe is running at twice mine, it's still not the main hog on your device.
If you are not using a stock rom, check with your rom's chef and others in the rom thread, about the Ram consumption.

Mine is a stock rom, I suck at flashing so afraid to use the chefs roms. hopefully someday it will work out itself. maybe I do a hard reset and start from scratch again..

I can post the Manila File but all the cab does is just put the manila file in the windows directory for you. there are a lot of different clock's in this forum just look around.

Main Home (Level 1) will always be default.
However, you can modify, level 1 and level 0, to look like the other, so that you have the setup you want as the default, on your Main Home screen.

In other words, all levels are customizable and through editing the layout, you can have whatever you want on any of the levels.
Hope that helps. :)

I really wish there was a cookie "lite" version. The latest version is great but it slows things down so much. Really just want the 4 shortcut mod and maybe an extension of displayed appointments. It doesnt seem to matter how much i disable the speed is unchanged even if i make it look like regular manilla.
